I have tried every shampoo on the planet earth, every ointment, every nutrient, every homeopathic remedy,cortisone 10, cooler water temperatures. no shampooing at all,not using latex hairbrushes,hypo allergenic shampoos, plant shampoos, no styling products at all and als, I tried this. It is the equivalent of a wonder drug. All you do is squeeze a little into the areas of scalp bothering you and lightly massage to touch the affected are and you are done. It evaporates leaving it undetectable. And you have relief. It has a strong cooling sensation when first squeezed in,then that feeling leaves after about 10 minutes.I added a smaller amount because some of the irritation had disappeared. I had relief for 6 hours. I put a little bit more on before bed and now it is morning and I am ready to be almost done with it. All that relief in 24 Hours. It only touches your scalp so the strands of actual hair remain undried out and you can use your favorite shampoo and conditioner. Cannot say enough. Just remember it takes a very small amount which is why the nozzle opening is just a pinprick. don't put any other product like a conditioner on your scalp now. Condition the hair, but not the scalp. I wanted to try this product based on other reviews I have read, as I have been experiencing extreme scalp itching for going on 10 months now. I developed this situation from all of my hair falling out from my pregnancy, and the itch and discomfort will not go away. This was a great fix to get a couple hours of relief after applying, and I loved the cooling sensation. However, only applying twice a day did not do the trick for me, and the product disappeared fast (only lasting about a week with 2 applications a day). I'll keep looking!

It can be a bit greasy if you don't wash your hair regurally, in fact washing your hair daily is part of the cure for an itchy scalp.
I split my hair/scalp into four parts then I start applying product near my forehead and move in a zig zag pattern to the base of my scalp. Then I massage it into the scalp. Use 2 - 3 times daily.

i don't have to run to the doctor for rxs all the time. this is a great product if you have scabs. i put it on at bedtime and wash it out in the morning. doesn't get rid of the dander... just helps maintain it without spending a fortune on rxs

Had an itchy scalp that even the medication the Dr. prescribed didn't help! I thought I would go crazy! Tried scalpicin and got immediate relief. It took one application to relieve the itch, two days of applying once a day got rid of the itch for good!

I get a really dry scalp in the winter and just a few drops of this and my scalp feels completely soothed. It is not healing completely, but because I am not scratching my head, my scalp is much less irritated. Highly recommend.

I had a reaction to this product! Made my condition worse with the itching! Also had some breaking out--and I am going on 60! My guess is that it might be the tree tea oil that I reacted to. Looked up tea tree oil on the internet to see if I could have had a reaction to it and there are cases where people did have a reaction--some more severe than mine!
