Scharffen Berger® Natural Cocoa Powder has all the flavor of rich, dark chocolate. Nothing is added to our exceptional cocoa-no milk or alkali (the chemical in Dutch-process cocoa). With the same attention to detail used in crafting our pure dark chocolate, we hand select ripe, well-fermented cacao beans from tropical regions around the equator, which are then roasted, blended, ground and pressed. Scharffen Berger® Natural Cocoa Powder mixes deliciously with milk for hot or cold cocoa and gives depth and clean chocolate flavor to baked goods.

For each 8-ounce serving, mix 3 level tablespoons of Scharffen Berger® Natural Cocoa Powder with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water until a smooth paste is formed. Add 8 ounces hot or cold milk and stir until all the chocolate paste is dispersed. When making hot cocoa, do not allow the milk to boil. Feel free to adjust proportions to your own taste.
