I've been using the Schick Quattro for the past couple of weeks and I think it's a great razor, a big improvement over what I've been using for the past couple of years. I have fairly course hair and haven't had any problems with razor burn. Like some other reviewers said, sometimes hair can get stuck in between the blades, but I've had the same problem with nearly every razor I've tried. A quick rinse and a few taps seems to work for me. This reviewer receives free product in exchange for providing his/her opinion on products sold on the drugstore.com webpage. "Bad" because your stubble gets totally STUCK in the blades, no matter how much you rinse! The blades DO have a nice open "window" along the top to see clearly down through when they are clean. But soon, no matter how you rinse, that stubble stays put. PERFECT SOLUTION: Use a spray bottle. I now use a generic spray bottle, the kind used for watering plants, etc. But make sure they have a "stream" setting. Then just before shaving, fill it a couple inches with warm water. As you rinse the blades the regular way during shaving, give the shaver several squirts along that "window" at the top. This dislodges the "paste" of stubble and shaving cream stuck there. PRESTO! Your blades are as good as new! They will even last a lot longer, and give you close shaves more often.
Hope this helps.

A top of the line product that is easy to grip in the shower due to the rubber insert in the handle.

Comments about Schick Quattro Titanium Razor, 1 ea:

The blades for this razor has lasted me much longer than any other razor I've owned. I would've given this razor 5 stars but it does have a downside. Hairs will get clogged in the blade but with some hot water and a little (ok a lot) of tapping the hair will come out. If you don't get most of it out though the razor won't cut very well.

Comments about Schick Quattro Titanium Razor, 1 ea:

I tried this razor because I ran out of Mach 3 blades and figured 4 has to be better than 3... NO!!! This razor clogs, misses spots that a Mach 3 gets and the blades cost more. The only good thing about it is the precision blade which I had to use multiple times just to get the places that it missed. It does cut smooth but be prepared to use a blade once. Overall garbage.

Comments about Schick Quattro Titanium Razor, 1 ea:

It doesn't matter how well it shaves if you can't get the hairs out from between the blades. The blades have a grid like support system that just traps hairs and you can't get them out. They'll clog up with the first stroke and you'll never get them out. I don't understand how they stay in business.

Comments about Schick Quattro Titanium Razor, 1 ea:

This razor is an improvement over the standard Schick Quattro. The blades are able to cut through my very thick stubble smoothly with less irritation than the regular Quattro. And the irritation I was receiving with the standard Quattro was minimal to begin with.
In addition, the reason I prefer the Schick Quattro to the Gillette Mach III razor is that the blades on the Quattro last several shaves longer than the Mach III. Apparently, the titanium coating really does make a difference because now I am able to get several more shaves out of the Quattro Titanium versus the regular Quattro.
I recommend giving this razor a whirl to see if it works well on your beard.

I've alternated between this and the Mach3. While neither is perfect, the Mach3 is superior because it's lighter and much more flexible (the Mach3 blade almost bends to your face). On the other hand, this Shick is a lot better when it's been a day or two between shaves. The Quattro cuts through hair more effectively, while the Mach3 is better for getting the edges.

Comments about Schick Quattro Titanium Razor, 1 ea:

This is a great razor. I think this will replace my Mach3 Turbo (underarms) and my Gillette Fusion (legs). This gives me a very smooth underarm shave. I can shave every other day with this razor, and get no bumps. I am an african-american female with fair skin that becomes bumby and red if I shave too often. I normally shave my legs once a week and my under arms twice a week to avoid bumps and razor burn. This does the job better that my Mach3 Turbo.

Comments about Schick Quattro Titanium Razor, 1 ea:

This is a much improved razor and blade over the previous Quattros. It gives a smooth shave, and it has replaced my Gillette Fusion as beard weapon of choice. I was a little disappointed that the blades are expensive, comparable to Fusion ones. Considering that it took so many years for the two blade razor to replace the single blade, and about 18 for the three blade razor to enter the fray, I hope that Schick and Gillette will call a truce to their blade wars, where the customer suffers from increased costs for bells and whistles, and where at this pace we'll all be shaving with mini-lawnmowers.
