I was getting lots of nicks and cuts with competitive 5-blade design. I saw this ad and the price was right. Was I surprised. The best shave I've had in over 60 years of shaving. Very smooth and a good close shave. I think the balance of the razor and the titanium blades make the difference. I am only changing the blades after about 2 weeks......which makes them very affordable.

It provides for a very close shave. BUT I never cut myself with the Mach-3, but find little nicks after every use of the Quattro. I'm going back to my Mach-3.

I got this for my husband. He loves it, and swears by it. He really feels like this razor offers a very sturdy feel and likes the shave it provides him. I also like it :0) It DOES provide for a very close shave!

I am a woman and never thought of using a men's razor, but I liked the look of this one. I have been using it on my legs for a few weeks. It's perfect! The handle is hearty and durable and I always get a clean shave. Plus, it is really nice looking for a razor.

I have been using the Mach-3 for many years and figured "if 3 blades is good, then 4 must be even better!" I was wrong. The Quattro doesn't shave as closely as the Mach-3 and it clogs with every stroke. I almost never cut myself with the Mach-3, but find little nicks after every use of the Quattro. I'm going back to my Mach-3.

I've been using the Schick Quattro for the past couple of weeks and I think it's a great razor, a big improvement over what I've been using for the past couple of years. I have fairly course hair and haven't had any problems with razor burn. Like some other reviewers said, sometimes hair can get stuck in between the blades, but I've had the same problem with nearly every razor I've tried. I normally use a MACH 3 and had an opportunity to try this razor. I was happy with my current razor so was skeptical this would be better. This is a little heftier and provides some additional feel of control. In my case, the closeness of the shave is actually superior to the MACH 3 in that by the next morning I have noticeably less stubble. I have been using it about two weeks and the blade is holding up well and looks to last as long as my MACH 3. I have not had any nicks.I'm a convert for sure.[...]

I typically use a Mach-3 razor, but tried this in hopes of a smoother shave. Unfortunately, the shave was a rougher than the Mach-3, and left quite a bit more razor burn.
