MY MISTAKE! [...] These are SO cheap and SO wonderful I wonder why people even try other things! I will NEVER look for another razor to get a closer shave...It doesn't get any closer unless you take off a layer of skin! Absolutely NO more leg hair! The tilting head is nice to fit curves and for knees. But I would imagine it wouldn't be great for men. I really hope they make this for the 70 more years I'll me alive!LOVE IT. The handle is plastic and too light, it doesn't offer a good balance for control. The blade cartridge is also too lightweight, and it doesn't pivot smoothly. The blades are too close and not angled properly, it gets clogged very easily and you have to bang the handle against the sink to clear the clog, rinsing alone doesn't clear it. I bought this because I thought I could save a few bucks, but the result was horrible, I got cuts in quite a few places. In fact, this triple blade system is worse than Gillette's dual blade Sensor Excel system. People that rave about this have probably never used a Mach 3 Turbo. The choice is clear, Mach 3 Turbo, or Sensor Excel if you want to spend less money. Reviewed by 31 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 5/10/2012 Great for women too. Pros

Comments about Schick Xtreme 3 Triple Blade Disposable Razors, Sensitive Skin, 8 ea: I'm a woman who loves this razor. I have purchases "mens" disposable razors for years since they are generally less expensive and longer lasting than women's. Great for legs and other areas that may need it! Easy to handle, no irritation, really close shave, and they last a long time. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Schick Xtreme 3 Triple Blade Disposable Razors, Sensitive Skin, 8 ea: This shaver is great for shaving in the up direction and the down direction. A lot of the newer (and more expensive) razors such as the Gillette Mach-3 are great for shaving in the down direction only, but are not good for shaving in the up direction. With the other newer razors, I don't have the same feeling of control as I do with the Schick Xtreme3 razor when shaving up.

Comments about Schick Xtreme 3 Triple Blade Disposable Razors, Sensitive Skin, 8 ea: I got a sample razor, and this was it. I loved it from the beginning. I get a close, non-irritating shave. The value is great. The razor lasts a week with daily use on the face (for men) or about two to three weeks for women who shave 2-3 times a week. I find that this razor is easy to grip, easy to control & fits in tight spots well (the crook of ankles, behind the knees, etc.) No cuts whatsoever when I use this.

Comments about Schick Xtreme 3 Triple Blade Disposable Razors, Sensitive Skin, 8 ea: I am a woman who plans to switch to this version of the Xtreme since it is cheaper than the women's version. (I also got one of these as a sample and it seemed identical to me, anyhow.) These razors are pricey, but they really give a clean, close shave. For women it is slightly different since we (or at least I) use the same razor to shave my legs and underarms, but in general I have used this method to quickly clean hair, shaving gel and residue from the razor blades: keep a toothbrush, like the spare ones you get from the dentist, nearby and use it to thoroughly clean the blades after every few swipes, especially if hair is coarse or thick. The bristles will reach through the blades to push the hair out and clean the surface of the blades. I was able to get my razor to last between 7-10 days with daily use as opposed to 5-7 days, and the blades do not dull, pit or rust. Hope that helps!

I didn't like it at all, primarily because as I was pulling the razor up my leg the shaving cream would go over the top of the razor, leaving a 'trail' of shaving cream. It may have been shaving closely but because of this trail I didn't have that perception. Also, this razor didn't have a good feel in my hand. I actually put it down after one leg and picked up the Schick Quattro (which I like much better) to do the other leg.
