I got this razor as a sample and I'm sold. It gives me a very smooth shave with no irritation. It also seems to have lasted quite a while.

I don't get the scented handle thing -- I haven't noticed any scent and don't understand the point, anyway.

This razor is a bit larger and more solid than typical disposables. I like it.

I have rough skin and have a hard time with most razors, but this one, which I received as a sample from Drugstore.com, did not leave me with any cuts or nicks. It really did a great job. And the shape was really easy to hold, which is another thing I usually have a problem with. I really do like this razor. The scented handle thing, though, is ridiculous - I couldn't smell it at all, and who cares anyway: I'm in the shower and using scented shower gel. If you try it, hope you are as happy as I am.

Picked these up when the store was out of the Gillette ProGlide razor refills and I didn't want to buy a whole new razor. The "Fights Razor Burn Guaranteed" sounded nice and easy. I always use a body scrub first and then Aveeno shave cream so I expected an easy shave. However, this product provided a terrible shave on my leg. Left ankle and calf w/nicks and lots of irritation. Didn't finish shaving the first and didn't start on the second leg! As for the scent, didn't notice it in the shower. Reading the reviews above, and having three razors left, I smell them now and they smell like some of those cheaper bathroom solid disinfectants that get stale smelling after a while. That wouldn't be a reason to not buy if the shave was good. Disappointed.

I started using the Xtreme 3 about 4 years ago and was hooked right away. This razor shaves so close my legs feel amazing. The blade totally bends with the contours of your body to prevent cuts and nicks. I have repeatedly tried other razor when I hae a coupon or they are on sale only to be very disappointed. Nothing compares, even the expensive one that you only replace the actual blade part. I always end up either cutting my knees and ankles due to the blade not bending or with stubble on my legs. I shave every day because my hair grows fast and there is nothing I hate more than stubble or little cuts on my legs. The Shick Xtreme 3 pleasently suprises me every time I shave. It is a joy to use and until I find something better this is my number 1 razor!!!!

I think this product works well for underarms. It gave me a close shave, but when i tried to use it on my legs, they felt irritated so i wouldn't reccommend it for that use. I dont see the point of the scented handles. Companies come up with just about anything to get you to buy their products. Overall, I thought it was a pretty decent value for the price.

Description says it has "pre & post shave lubricants for a close, more comfortable shave". I don't notice any lubricant, but it shaves well without nicks, and the rubber handle is great!
