I have used this supplement to excellent effect for both humans and dogs. Our 16 year old dog (not subject to the placebo effect) showed demonstrable to shocking improvements- even jumping onto couches that she'd not attempted for years! I tested this supplement for solubility- it dissolves beautifully and I believe that the absorption potential is far better than most on the market. I especially appreciate the 500/tablet dosing- allows me to give an appropriate dose without overdosing (check with your DVM for appropriate dosing for your dog). For myself- pharmacology and chemistry show that three doses/day are more effective than once/day with regard to absorption, so these are far superior to horse-tabs for humans. As for those who feel mislead/deceived- quit blaming drugstore.com and Schiff for your irresponsibility & inability to read a label. It's clearly stated, and you ALWAYS have to read how many tabs to take whenever you take a new supplement. It's not rocket science, it's common sense- use it.

The presentation in the online catalog and on the bottle itself is misleading: "Glucosamine 1500mg + MSM 1500mg, Highest Potency form of Glucosamine." Each tab is 500 mg. You need to take three to get the standard, daily dose of 1500 mg. I have nothing against the product, but the packaging is dishonest.
My knee has been hurting for about 4 months. I started back on Glucosamine and it is getting better. It takes a couple of weeks to get into your system.
Ia thought I was getting 1500 mg tablets, I failed to read the fine print that it was 1500 mg per 3 tablets. I think this is misleading to put 1500 mg on the bottle that has 500 mg tablets.
I have been taking this product for years. Since moving to Minnesota, I didn't know where ti find it, but discovered Drugstore.com had it. I love all their products. Lynn R.
I started using this product when I had to use a knee brace for support because of constant knee pain. In just a little over a month after I started using this, I am no longer in a knee brace, the stability in my knee has greatly improved and I am almost completely pain free. I love this product
I started using glucosamine several years ago when I got back into running and an old knee injury was giving me problems. Since then, I've had nothing but good results. After trying a few different brands, I came across Schiff and don't plan on looking any further. This stuff really works and the price is right.
