An excellent way to get extra Vitamin D. Many studies are supporting increased Vitamin D consumption- more than 7 out of 10 children are deficient, and many others, such as seniors, may need much more than the current 400 IUs per day than is the current RDA for optimum health. This product is dirt cheap and the tablets are very tiny, making it easy to swallow. Since vitamin D is fat-soluble, it's a good idea to take this with a meal.

I love this product because it really absorbs in the system at a fast rate. I am a woman of color over the age of 45, and I was told my vitamin D level was low. So I started taking these tablets and two weeks later my blood tests showed my vitamin D level was at a normal rate! You can have the option to get a larger bottle, and I definitely will!! People really don't know all of the cymptoms and complications that can occur with low vitamin D levels. Don't risk it, this is a great product.

According to my doctor, it's amazing how many people are Vit D deficient, especially those of us who live in the Pacific NW. And women are especially vulnerable. We need Vit D for calcium absorption, so taking extra calcium when we're Vit D deficient doesn't make a lot of sense.

In my case, I was so deficient that he recommended I take 6000IU of Vit. D per day. These Schiff tablets are great! They're small, and I can take three of them at once with no problems at all.

I'm amazed at the difference in how I feel -- who would have thought that correcting one vitamin deficiency would make me feel so much better? Mood, general achiness, etc. all improved.

I was prescribed 50,000 IU's per day via Rx. With this product I get 1000 extra IU's per month while spending less.
