I am so glad 3-M makes this clear duct tape. This winter was the coldest I have ever experienced in the South. That cold north wind just seemed to penetrate my walls. I put this clear duct tape all the way around my doors to seal out the wind draft, and it helped keep my home warmer. The clear duct tape is barely noticeable but works just as well as the silver does. I will continue to use this clear duct tape.Thank you for carrying this product, Drugstore.com.

This works just like the gray duct tape (I was skeptical), in that it's just as heavy and tears by hand. I wouldn't use it to mail something, but for around the house it works well. It's not invisible but as the other reviews pointed out, it's a LOT less obvious. (For example, I patched up the bottom of a small wooden black bookcase that had been dragged instead of lifted.)

I used this to tape up a window screen that had been bent at the bottom and would've let in bugs if I didn't seal it. This worked very well. I like that it is transparent so it isn't so obvious that you had to fix something. I imagine it would also double as a packing tape, because it is quite strong and durable.

This is not like shipping tape so don't buy it for that but I have used it for lots of repair stuff and it looks better than the normal silver/grey duct tape.
