No, guests will not be impressed by your thick, blanket-like tissue. No, it's not soft enough to rub on a cartoon bear's nose. But considering what you do with it, it works. And works quite well. Oh, sometimes I wish it were a little softer, and (dare I say it) two-ply, but most of the time I'm glad I saved the extra cash.

I switched to this years ago when our son was small. We were always having clogged toilets from his using the `fluffy` t.p. Kids often use too much when they are young and so I looked for something to help avoid problems. It worked! And when we purchased our fifth-wheel many years later, I was pleasantly surprised we could use it for that application as well. Will NEVER switch!

With 1000 sheets per role, one role lasts a long time. I buy it because I have 4 small children who use a lot of tissue. This is a good value and saves space in my bathroom closet because each role is so compact. [...]
