If you value your body or your possessions, do not buy these Scott Naturals Paper Towels. They are like ground up glass, like rough chopped wood or extremely rough sand paper. Not fit to use anywhere in the house. Horrible. What a shock that Scott could produce such poor quality, then charge so much on top of it. One of the worst purchases I have ever made. Risk your hands and your kitchen surfaces if you use these.

This paper towel is harder than others that have tried, but I don't necessarily look for softness in my paper towels (like I do with my facial tissue). The size of a sheet of this paper towel is a little smaller than the regular paper towel, and I think that's a good thing. Adequate absorbency. A little hard to tear off at the perforation (just takes a little more care to do so).

When you roll the paper towel out to get one or maybe two, the paper towel doesn't tear evenly and you end up with 3, 4, or more towel sheets in your hand. Or it doesn't rip at all and you have unraveled a bunch of paper towels...more than you want and then you have to roll them back into the towel packet and start over trying to get only one or two sheets. This is my major complaint and one I believe that can be fixed, is the ability to tear one sheet at a time evenly and do it effortlessly every time. Thank you.

I am a paper towel consumer. I am fussy about my paper towels because I use them a lot. I wanted to be more friendly to the earth---and so I thought I'd try these and voila! It worked out. They are 100% post-consumer recycled but not flimsy like some recycled papers. AND they are select-a-size so you can choose how much you need. They are great! They don't smell funny or feel funny and they work wonderfully.

I got these towels in order to qualify for a "natural" promotional offer, and I really wanted to like them, but I would never ever buy them again. The sentiment behind their manufacture is admirable, but these towels are much too stiff and thin to do the job they're designed to accomplish. Their waffled texture is almost like an ilusion. I felt like I was using looseleaf paper to wipe up spills. Some of the liquid gets absorbed, sure, but the surface being wiped remains wet. You can't get a kitchen counter or a bathroom tank dry even if you use a new sheet in a vain attempt to finish the job. What's the use of a paper towel that doesn't really get things dry?
