Sometimes you get stuck with no more 4 letter word options but we had a really good time. I would definitely recommend this game to families with kids over 8 or for kids that know 4 letter words well. Comments about Scrabble Slam Game, Ages 8+, 1 ea: I gave this game as a gift to my daughter. The whole family played it together at our Christmas gathering. The directions were really easy so we didn't have to spend time figuring out how to play. It did get a bit loud at times, as people were slamming their cards down and shouting out the new word that they had made.

Comments about Scrabble Slam Game, Ages 8+, 1 ea: I bought two sets. One for me and one for my grand nephew. The adults played it at Thanksgiving time. Had a great time. Very fast pace game and it made you put your thinking cap on. We love playing regular Scrabble and the Scrabble Slam was alot of fun for us. I'm going to give my nephew the game for Christmas. He's 10 years old and I'm sure he will love it. He and his 12 year old sister are home schooled and I'm sure they will make good use of the card game.

Comments about Scrabble Slam Game, Ages 8+, 1 ea: Scrabble is sometimes too slow to retain interest of kids. This is fast-paced and a lot of fun. First time we played it, my daughter and I ended up playing for 90 minutes. We enjoyed searching for 4-letter words that one of us didn't know, but stood up to challenges using the dictionary. I highly recommend. Pros
