I have fine, straight hair and these actually stay in place because of the rubberized grip strip - and no headache. Even on the days when I put some shine oil or wax in my hair, I only readjust my headband once throughout the whole day. If you're someone who uses a lot of product on your hair, that will most likely effect how well these work. I like the look of wearing two at a time, slightly separated, and I also like that they are gentle and not damaging on my hair. Great for keeping hair out of your face while working out, too. The problem is the elastic is tight at first and needs time to adjust to the size of your head, so keeping them in for extended amounts of time at first will likely result in mild headaches. They need to be stretched out, so if you aren't going to be patient with them, then they're not worth the money and you should look for alternative solutions. Cons Best Uses Comments about Scunci Headwraps with No-Slip Grip, Black, 4 ea: Work really well for me. I have to hike up my hair so that it doesn't touch my collar (military) and it works beautifully. Keeps my hair in tact and make it looks shorter than it is.

Comments about Scunci Headwraps with No-Slip Grip, Black, 4 ea: I have used these head bangs for the last six years. I had no problem with them until recently I took a trip to Puerto Rico from Upstate, NY and after just a few hours in hot weather, I lost my hair in the area where the head band was at. I guess the plastic in the grip area got hot and caused my scalp to react in a way that my hair started to fall out. Also it caused me a headache and it left a brown line kind of scar in that area. The hair is growing thank god, but will never use this product again no matter if it's in hot weather or cold.

Best Uses Comments about Scunci Headwraps with No-Slip Grip, Black, 4 ea: Tried these, after my usual, CHEAPER hair elastic bands were out of stock at a local beauty supply shop. Not only did they NOT grip and did in fact slide back (I had to use bobby pins to hold the band in place), they squeezed my scalp and gave me a headache! Not worth the money. There're cheaper ones, that're far better.

Best Uses Comments about Scunci Headwraps with No-Slip Grip, Black, 4 ea: Most hair accessories used to specifically hold long hair out of your face give me massive headaches. I can only use headband type materials, which are usually TOO BIG. I see this product and try it, thinking it would be ideal for my baby-fine soft hair. I must have a HUGE head because it slips way back and then slides off. What the.....???

Best Uses Comments about Scunci Headwraps with No-Slip Grip, Black, 4 ea: If your head is child-sized, these may work for you. As an adult, they were too tight for me and rolled right off my hair. Don't waste your money.
