Do not style, straighten or curl faux hair while wearing it.

To attach to your own hair:

• Fasten your own hair into a ponytail.  How high you place your ponytail will determine the final look.
• Insert the three-pronged comb into your hair underneath the rubber band.
• Once the three-pronged comb is firmly in place, grasp the top strip with both hands and hold it horizontally.  Wrap the left side of the self-grip strip underneath your ponytail.  Next, wrap the right side of the strip underneath your ponytail.  Place the right end of the self-grip strip firmly against the left end to connect.
• Once the self-grip connection is firmly in place, wrap the long strip of hair around the top of your ponytail and secure with a hairpin.

Styling tips:
Thermal styling tools may be used on heat settings up to 180°C/350°F.  The fibers may scorch on a higher setting.

• Straightening:
  For best results when straightening the faux hair, take a one-inch section an run a flat iron over the hair from root to ends.  Repeat until all the hair is straightened to your satisfaction.
• Curling:
  When curling faux hair with a curling iron, create the curl by wrapping a section of hair around the barrel, hold for 10-20 seconds, and then carefully slide it off the iron.  Hold the warm curl in place, pin it with a clip and wait until it cools.  Once the curl has cooled and is set, remove the clip and style as desired.

Washing the ponytail:

• Remove tangles gently with fingers or a pick.  Don't brush.
• Mix a dime size amount of a gentle shampoo into a basin of cool water.
• Immerse the ponytail for 5 minutes.  Rinse thoroughly in clear, cool water.  Do not rub.
• Make sure all shampoo is rinsed out, as residue could cause damage to fibers.
• Blot gently with a clean, dry towel to remove excess water.  Don't twist or squeeze.
• Brushing or combing wet ponytail is not recommended as fibers could stretch or break.
• To dry, simply hang up or use your blow dryer on the lowest setting.
