I tried this coffee at a restaurant and the coffee made me return more than the food. I asked the waitress what brand it was and she told me it was Kona, but would not reveal the actual brand. Finally, I asked the busboy if he could show me the bag and I was so happy to bring this coffee into my home.

Immediately upon opening this package, the smell was vile. The taste wasn't much better. Never had that experience with coffee before. I was very surprised, because I had heard others speak well of the brand. Perhaps this had been stored improperly? Unfortunately, it soured me on the brand.

When I was first introduced to Seattle's Best, through a visitor from Washington state, I knew that I would never buy another brand. It was almost impossible to find on the East Coast, then, but more and more stores are beginning to carry it. I still prefer to order it from Drugstore. com, though....better price, better selection.
