It works! She is now 17 and still has bouts of seborrheic dermatitis that crop up. We live in a metro area and even with a major drugstore on every corner I have been unable to find Sebulex locally. Drugstore.com to the rescue, a great place to get hard-to-find items! For several weeks now I have been using T-Gel on my daughter and I thought we had resolved the problem, then overnight the big scaly patch came back with a vengeance! UPS just delivered my order (of the Sebulex) and I can't wait to shampoo my daughter's head with it because I know it will resolve the problem after a couple of uses. It will get the seborrhea under control and then it shouldn't come back again for a while. I would recommend this, but it really depends on what the actual scalp problem you are experiencing is caused by which should dictate which product (ingredients) will work on it. I also ordered the Scalpicin (hydrocortisone) spray to try this time. VS Most Liked Negative Review Is it really worth stinky hair? I read the almost perfect reviews here and bought this dandruff shampoo. Ive tried like 15 shampoos this year on the quest to find the perfect dandruff/itchy scalp shampoo. Comments about Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I've been using this product for over 35 years. I was delighted when I found it available at drugstore since it is no longer carried in the Michiana area. I won't be without it.

Comments about Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I have very dry scalp & my dermatologist recommended this shampoo. I used to be able to buy it at the drugstore; however, most drugstores do not handle it anymore. There was not a "key" to rate the product, so I checked the wrong one. I love it & am happy I found a place to buy it. Thanks.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I have had scalp-only psoriasis since I was a child resulting in significant scales and itching. After a lifetime of trying multiple different treatment shampoos, I am finally symptom-free. I have thick, somewhat wavy (COLOR TREATED!!) hair and it leaves my hair soft and manageable.

However at nearly $10 a bottle less, I decided to switch to Sebulux which works pretty well. I've noticed a few flakes, but not many.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo, 7 fl oz: I started using Sebulex for treating tinea versicolor. Anyone who fights tinea versicolor knows it will invade the scalp, too. When I was treating for tinea versicolor, I would lather my hair & then lather my body, waist up. I use Sebulex now 1 or 2 times a week in this manner to make sure it doesn't come back. When I was treating tinea versicolor, I lathered my hair & upper body every other day for 6 weeks. It rinses very clean & the bad smell others complain about doesn't last. My husband has never complained about the smell lasting. I also color my hair & have never noticed any color stripping, only extreme shine & softness.

Comments about Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo, 7 fl oz: THis shampoo is great for thorough, gentle cleaning, especially of sturdy hair. It would not be appropriate for color treated hair. It should be OK for permed hair. I use it every time I shower, which is every day or two.
