I've started doing my own manicures and needed a base coat. This product goes on smoothly, covers any imperfection on your nail and makes the nail polish go on smooth and my nails are shiner. IAlso I've worn it on it's own for a few days before I had a chance to polish my nails with a color.

This does a great job as a base coat. It created a smooth surface for my polish which I noticed because I have what looks like scratches on my nails that I usually see after I'm done painting my nails. When I used this base coat I didn't see any of them.

This is the best base coat I've ever tried! I have been using this base coat for probably 10 years. I had to order it online when my local stores stopped carrying it. I've tried all kinds of base coats and have never found one that doesn't peel or chip in 1 or 2 days -- except for this one!

This is the only top coat I ever use. It dries quickly and never chips. My nails still look good after a week. I highly recommend this product along with the Seche Base Coat.
