This product goes on smoothly, covers any imperfection on your nail and makes the nail polish go on smooth and my nails are shiner. IAlso I've worn it on it's own for a few days before I had a chance to polish my nails with a color. It created a smooth surface for my polish which I noticed because I have what looks like scratches on my nails that I usually see after I'm done painting my nails. I had to order it online when my local stores stopped carrying it. I've tried all kinds of base coats and have never found one that doesn't peel or chip in 1 or 2 days -- except for this one!
