Comments about Selsun Blue Naturals Dandruff Shampoo, Island Breeze with Aloe, 11 fl oz: OKay i have psoriasis this product contains 3 % of Salcylic Acid. Which would help peel the scales off, but im just finding out how this could cause hair loss. Im going to go with natural tea tree oil and a tea tree oil shampoo instead. Very great smelling product though:]

Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Selsun Blue Naturals Dandruff Shampoo, Island Breeze with Aloe, 11 fl oz: I bought this for my husband who has occasional dandruff. I used it too ( I don't have dandruff) and I love it. It cleans beautifully and ads great shine. Hair looks healthy. Salicylic acid is used also in skin care and I think it is healing for scalp. It is really gentle product. If you have bad dandruff, probably it will not be enough. If you want to prevent dandruff, buy this.

Comments about Selsun Blue Naturals Dandruff Shampoo, Island Breeze with Aloe, 11 fl oz: I buy this for my daugher who has extremely thick hair, oily and a tendency to get dandruff. The traditional dandruff shampoos caused her scalp to break out. This shampoo keeps the problem at bay without irritating her scalp. She switches off between this and a regular shampoo.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Selsun Blue Naturals Dandruff Shampoo, Island Breeze with Aloe, 11 fl oz: I decided to try this product since I have been having trouble with itchy scalp and dandruff. I gave this product 3 weeks before discontinuing it. It simply does not do what it states. I would not buy this product again. I have recently switched to nizoral, which has been working better.

Comments about Selsun Blue Naturals Dandruff Shampoo, Island Breeze with Aloe, 11 fl oz: I really like salicylic acid. I was wondering why nobody had put it in a shampoo and had actually tried mixing some in with my own. My mixture didn't work and destroyed the body and effectiveness of the shampoo, but did help get rid of the dead skin on my scalp. I'm glad to see that this company has figured out how to make a good shampoo with salicylic acid in it. I'm also glad that they chose to use a mild fragrance rather than a bunch of "happy" smells. "Keep it simple and effective" seemed to be their motto. Two thumbs up.
