If you already get gel manicure at salons, this is exactly the same quality. My nails stay shiny and chip free for 2 weeks. I feel safer doing it myself since most salons like to make you leave your hands under the UV lamps longer than guidelines from manufacturers. It took me 30 mins to apply polish, completely dry and ready to go. I recommend doing manicure after shower to avoid newly cured polish from getting too much water. Even though this is LED lamp, it still emits UV ray so I use sunscreen lotion and white gloves with cutoff tips.

Removing polish off takes much longer. Wrapping fingers with acetone and foil for 10 mins did not work for me, more like 30 mins for each hand. If you have someone to help you then you should do soak both hands at the same time.

I researched quite a bit and was skeptical I could get the same thing that I had in a salon...I was wrong.
This kit is exactly like what you get in a salon that instantly dries onces it sets with the uv lamp and it lasts just as long too. I cleaned house and was very rough on my nails. Two weeks later, I only have one tiny nick on my thumbnail. I followed the instructions exactly and the first time out, it worked perfectly. Once it's set under the uv lamp, it's perfectly dry and you can do what you want instead of waiting an hour for it to dry completely. Can't recommend enough!!!

My husband bought me this kit for Christmas. I love getting gels nails at the salon but it's time consuming and expensive. Having the do-it-yourself kit at home is a perfect solution for me! My nails look great and are so much stronger. The instructions are easy and they turned out great. My only complaint is the starter kit bottles are so small. I ordered the french manicure kit at the same time and love it!!

I was completely impressed with this kit. It pays for itself in no time by saving you money at the salon. It does take a little longer to apply than just painting your nails but lasts so much longer. Regular nail polish starts chipping the next day on me so I started getting gel mani's at the salon. I loved that I could keep my nails looking good for about 2 weeks but it started getting expensive! I was happy to see this on sale and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! It came very close to salon quality. When applying each coat make sure you apply them very thin. If not, the polish will pool near you cuticles and make a ridge. I'm a picker so I would pick at the ridge and ruin the mani. I learned my lesson the first time and the next time it was perfect. I've also used this kit with other brands of gel polish and it worked just as well. I like that you can get the SensatioNail colors at local stores if you need a color immediately. I do wish there was a bigger selection of colors but it is relatively new. Great product overall.

Been wanting to try home gel polish but the start up expense seemed a bit much just to try but with the kit on sale and then extra 20% off promtion it was a perfect deal. The 7W led lamp is worth the cost I paid for the whole kit.

Directions were easy and process was quick. The worse problem I had was sealing the ends without making a mess as my nails are rather short. Use the orange stick included to clean off any spots on skin before curing.

My nails look great can't wait to see how long they last.

I had acrylic nails put on for my son's wedding. The man ground down on my nails so much (even when I was wincing in pain).... that for a week I was in pain!! I finally soaked them off and they were disgusting to look at. For now I am using a basecoat and topcoat. It hides the uglyness, while I let them grow out. I can't wait to have my nails looking healthy again and this is going to take me through the holidays. I will continue to use it and NEVER allow anyone to "grind" my nails again!

This gel polish starter kit is a great value! The LED lamp alone would cost more than this entire kit. Gel manicures are the best new thing going. They result in super shiny professional-looking manicures that last and last. The only negative with this kit are the sample size polishes. The gel base & top coat and color gel polish were only .125 oz each. I don't know how they expect anyone to get 20 manicures out of such small bottles.

Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly & you'll be pleasantly surprised. Love having a manicure that looks like I just came from the salon. I'm tough on my hands, in general, & my job is data entry, so I'm constantly pounding the keyboard. Nails are still looking great after 10 days.

I am happy to say that this product gives exactly what it says. You must follow the directions exactly! Repeat, Exactly. I watched several You Tube videos to see first hand. The final results are hard and shiny, lasting at least two weeks. Be careful to keep the color off of the cuticle as that will spoil the outcome causing the polish to not only look messy but pull away from the nail. Just be sure to clean up the surrounding skin prior to curing under the light. Fantastic Product.I remove by soaking nails about 10min. in pure acetone. Warm some water in a larger bowl and place the smaller acetone filled bowl in the warm water. This makes the acetone warm so it works faster.Others use an acetone saturated pad wrapped in foil.Either way, buff off the colored polish prior to soaking. I have used both Red Carpet and Gelish polishes with with this and had great results. I'll never go back to regular manicures. Soooooooooooooooo Happy!
