I haven't even used half of the toothpaste and the dispenser is completely useless now. If they come up with a new dispenser I will buy this again. It feels goos and has very fine bibles. But the canister clogs up, and includes a little dried plug with each subsequent brushing. Won't be buying again. Pros

Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: Really love the actual toothpaste, but the container leaks out paste through nozzle leaving mess in cap. After a week of use my teeth were 30%+ whiter. Cleans so well that other pastes feel like they leave a film on teeth in comparison. I really don't want to go back to other toothpastes but the container wastes a good percentage of expensive Pronamel toothpaste. Pros

Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: I developed sensitivity 5 or 6 years ago, and since then I've been very careful to use toothpastes with no "exotic" ingredients - just fluoride and the potassium nitrate that all the "sensitive" toothpastes seem to contain. Even though yellowish teeth run in my family, I have avoided all whitening products - so I was pleasantly surprised to find that Sensodyne made this product! I've been using it for a week now, and I really can't say that my teeth are any whiter. I wonder how long it takes, or if ANY toothpaste really is capable of whitening??? (If you have ever spilled toothpaste on clothing or pajamas, though, they all definitely seem to have some sort of bleach that leaves white spots, even when you wipe it right off with a wet washcloth.) The taste is so-so - I actually do NOT like the flavor of most toothpastes; I prefer a true peppermint flavor, and that seems to be harder and harder to find. Cleaning off the nozzle is no big deal - I use one Kleenex each time I finish, and have not had any clogging problems. This stuff does FOAM, and I'm really not too crazy about that - you have to be careful to control it. For travel, I would NOT drag this can along - I would probably use a small tube of Crest Sensitivity (sold by drugstore.com in a 4 oz. tube). Pros

Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: Husband is brand loyal to this stuff. I think it's a waste of money. It works though. If someone you know hates brushing their teeth, maybe this is worth the money for them too. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: I have used Sensodyne toothpaste for years. I decided to try this new product to see if it was better than the tube toothpaste. It tastes TERRIBLE and does not foam any better than their tube paste. AND the toothpaste leaks under the cap EVERY use even if I wash it off after using it. NOT RECOMMENDED at all! Pros

Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: The toothpaste is good, but this container is horrible. After every use, toothpaste oozes out enough so that when you go to use it the next time you need to wipe off the dispenser before you can use it. The stuff that oozes out tends to harden and get sticky. Its not pleasant and I waste towels and kleenex wiping it off. I won't be buying it again. Too fussy. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: I'm a Sensodyne fan and it has definitely made a HUGE difference to my tooth sensitivity. I wish I'd tried it years ago...however...this container is a disaster. It is 'suggested' that you wipe the top after every use. Do you really want to replace the towel or facecloth every time you brush your teeth? If you don't wipe it off the inside of the cap becomes all kinds of gooey and sticky. I got this product because I liked the nice clean look of the container. It proved to be exactly the problem I was hoping to avoid in my bathroom. Messy, messy business. I'll still use Sensodyne but not this one. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: It smells and tastes too "chemically"...as a matter of fact its been 6 hours since I last used it and I can STILL taste it on my breath! I'm going back to my brand. Pros

Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: Tastes faintly like spray paint smells. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Sensodyne Iso-Active Foaming Gel Toothpaste, Whitening, 4.3 oz: My dentist recommended this toothpaste to me, but the foaming action or overall quality didn't strike me as all that different from regular toothpaste. Not to mention that because it comes from a can, it has an odor slightly reminiscent of shaving cream, which makes it a little unpleasant to put in your mouth. Given the cost and the impact that these cans will make on the environment, I don't think it's worth it! Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » |
