Help protect your teeth against the growing problem of acid wear Dentists have reported a growing dental health concern due to changing modern diets: 'acid wear'. Even teeth without cavities can be affected. Acids in everyday food such as some fruit and acidic drinks like orange juice and wine can dissolve minerals from our teeth, softening the enamel surface which is then more easily worn away. As the enamel becomes thinner, teeth can become visibly less white, weaker and sensitive.
New Sensodyne Pronamel Gentle Whitening toothpaste is formulated to protect against acid wear and also gently yet effectively remove stains. As it contains fluoride it also provides all the benefits of a regular toothpaste.
Helps protect teeth against acid erosion
Helps hardens tooth enamel
Gently removes stains for whiter teeth
Contains fluoride for cavity protection
Specially formulated for people with sensitive teeth
+Dentists have been recommending Sensodyne® for over 20 years. Brushing twice a day with Sensodyne® builds a "shield of protection" against painful sensitivity. And, since Sensodyne® has fluoride, it helps protect against cavities too.

I have used Sensodyne products for many years for sensitive teeth. This formula helped me for eroding enamel. I could not use whitening products because they made sores in my mouth and tongue and since they have added the whitening agent to this product it has not caused any soreness or gum sensitivity at all. I would recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive teeth and also want to whiten their teeth at the same time. The only negative thing is the higher price.

I have figured out why I cannot use this product--it gives me CANKER SORES.
I have purchased and used up three full tubes of this product. Each time mid-way through the tube, I developed canker sores. For this reason, I cannot and will not ever use this product again.
I am sticking to the ProNamel toothpast WITHOUT whitening--it does not give me canker sores.
Comments about Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, 4 oz:
I use this toothpaste every day as my only toothpaste, with a sonic toothbrush and an anticavity mouthwash.
It was recommended to me by my dental hygienist because I had hypersensitive teeth—when she went in with the soft tool to brush my teeth, I flinched because it hurt so much! This was one and a half years ago, and since I switched (back) to this toothpaste, not only have dental cleanings been a breeze, but my teeth are overall less sensitive to cold water and tooth sensitivity has been a thing of the past.
The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes I get a hint of anise, which I do not like. I'm not sure which ingredient puts that taste in my mouth, but I wouldn't say it tastes "bad," just...well, like anise.
Comments about Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, 4 oz:
I thought I'd change from the regular Sensodyne toothpaste to the ProNamel Gentle Whitening toothpaste. I had purchased a 110g tube. Using it for the first time, straight after brushing, I felt stands of skin in my mouth. The toothpaste had "shredded" the inside of my mouth. It was worse than eating something extremely salty. I will never recommend this toothpaste to anyone. Years ago I experienced the same when I purchase some other tooth whitener. I will now only purchase regular Sensodyne toothpaste!
Comments about Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, 4 oz:
The only change I would like to see is a formulation for sensitive mouthes, such as those of us who suffer from autonomic neuropathy from diabetes. Mint burns.
Comments about Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, 4 oz:
Yes, it costs more than others - but it is absolutely worth the money! No more sensitive teeth and a fresh and clean mouth for a whole day or night. Absolutely fabulous!
Comments about Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, 4 oz:
I use the Sensodyne products to help with sensitive gums. The taste is a bit more mild then the other toothpastes out there but I find some of those a bit too strong.
Comments about Sensodyne ProNamel Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, 4 oz:
Due to continuous use of whitening toothpastes, I've noticed a strong sensitivity in my teeth when eating sweets or cold food/drinks. After looking at the positive reviews, I figured this product was worth a try.
Positives - I did notice my teeth get a little whiter in just a week. - Teeth isn't as sensitive to cold/sweets after a week. - I like being able to stand up the tube. - Taste isn't strong so there's no weird aftertaste. - Teeth is squeaky-clean after use.
Neutral - A little expensive for the amount but since it works fairly well for me right now, I don't mind. - Not sure if this helped the enamel.
