I have been using this product since it came out in 2007. I am a lifetime teeth clincher/grinder with receeding gum lines. I have PAINFULLY sensitive teeth, as there is basically no or soft enamel on the bottom of most of my teeth; forget the pain of cold drinks - it hurts for air to blow on them, seriously. I have tried EVERY toothpaste out there; to the point that I could write an article for Consumer Reports. Bottom line... THIS STUFF WORKS and it actually tastes like (or even better than) most regular toothpastes (refreshing mint flavor). I use the toothpaste every morning and night. It cleans so well that my hygienist told me she could hardly find any tarter/plaque. I also didn't have any cavities, which is amazing! The toothpaste does what it says! It protects your teeth! It doesn't hurt to brush my teeth, eat or drink anything, get a cleaning at the dentist, or for air to blow on them! If you have sensitive teeth, this is the BEST out there!

I was excited to try this toothpaste out. My teeth aren't really that sensitive to certain things, but I could use the improvement. I was intrigued by the whole protection enamel thing, since I think my enamel is gone? Still have to do all the research but I'm pretty sure I have little left.
Anyways, when I first used it, to me the taste was horrible. Too much of a chemical weird taste and a hint of mint, bleh. I am down to the last squeeze of the tube and I don't mind it as much now,so if you are one of those people who like their toothpaste with a bold mint taste, this isn't for you.
As far as performance goes, I think it works as far as sensitive issues, but I don't think it does anything but protect the enamel you already have. It does nothing to freshen breath and it definately does not do a good job keeping plaque away. As I am writing this now, I can feel all those little fuzzies in and around my molars, I use a battery operated toothbrush and I brushed this a.m and the plaque is back with a venegence.
So I am saying goodbye to this. I am going to try a different toothpaste for my enamel problem.

This toothpaste is ok I guess? The taste is not good. I don't feel like my teeth are very clean after an hour or so. I don't have sensitivity in my teeth as much as I did. I don't know if I will buy this again?

No product, including regular Sensodyne, could stop or reduce the pain a few teeth would give me when they were being cleaned by a hygienist. After one month's use of ProNamel, the pain was virtually gone. It's so great to find a product that does what it is advertised to do!

I spent a lot of time and money having all my teeth capped with porcelain crowns. Regular toothpastes are harsh, gritty, and promise things I don't need, i.e. "whitening". I asked my dentist to suggest a toothpaste gentle enough to clean my teeth yet protect my crowns. She gave me a few toothpaste samples; this product is perfect for my teeth. Gentle, cleans well, pleasing taste.

I use Sensodyne Pronamel daily to keep tooth sensitivity in check. No other sensitive toothpaste works for me. I am checked by a dentist regularly, and use it with his approval.

I was having tooth pain due to a very small pinhole-like cavity on a bottom tooth. My husband's insurance cards were behind coming in for the New year and his company asked that all non emergencies wait. I teach and so talking all day really made it worse. So I looked up home remedies and a lot of people said to try Sensodyne. WOW!!!! No pain! I don't even have to use the numbing gel! My appointment is next week, but even after it is fixed, I'll still continue to use this product.
