About 15 years ago, I started experiencing extreme pain when drinking or eating cold food as I have toothpaste abrasion around the gumlines of several of my teeth. I called my dentist inquiring about having filling added to the areas with toothpaste abrasion but he recommended using Sensodyne. I've used it and been totally satisfied. When my husband also started experiencing hot and cold sensitivity, I got him another flavor and now he is totally hooked too!

I heard a lot of great things about Sensodyne Toothpaste before I used it. I wasn't able to test it long enough to feel its effects, but I liked the minty taste. I know it's recommended by dentists, and I probably would have had to use it longer to feel the effects. I noticed that when I used it with a Sonicare electric toothbrush, the paste did not foam as well as when I used a regular toothbrush.

I have very thin gums and this causes my teeth to be very sensitive. I love Sensodyne. The taste is great and I have no sensitivity issues with this product.

Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Fresh Mint, 4 oz:
After having a few cavities filled in between my teeth, I've had A LOT of sensitivity. Instead of brushing my teeth with Sensodyne, I actually just dab a little bit between the teeth that are sensitive, and it has an immediate refreshing, cooling feeling on contact. This has worked wonders for me. The label says it works within "two weeks", but I've noticed it starts working after only a few applications. Wonderful product!!
