I have very little buildup between cleanings using this. Whitening ability is OK, not great. I'm willing to deal with that to get the sensitivity and tartar control benefits. I purchased "Sensodyne Maximum Strength with Fluoride Tartar control plus Whitening". Besides the toothpaste I had purchased from my dentist, this was most I had ever spent on a tube of toothpaste. I was not happy with this product. It tasted so bad I didn't even want to brush my teeth! This is just the worst tasting toothpaste I have ever tried! I'm not sure if it helps with sensitivity or not, I just could not get past the BAD taste! I used it about four times, but it's just awful! I'm not sure if they changed something in all their toothpaste, or just this particular kind, but it also peeled the skin off of the inside of my mouth. I stuck with it for 2 weeks thinking it would get better, but it never did. Disgusting. I will be using the no name brand from now on--not as expensive, and I keep the skin in my mouth. Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: Works as advertised! Forget the lousy taste...I'm forgetting the couple of thousands of dollars the dentist wanted for root canals due to overly sensitive teeth...hot, cold, sweet, etc, they all hurt! But one week after this stuff, I'm A-OK! Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: Absolutely terrible taste. Finally I just threw the nearly full tube away, as no one in our family liked it. Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: If I could give this no stars, I would! I used it for a day and couldn't figure out at first what this white stuff was that was coming off the inside of my mouth after using it, but after the second use I figured out that it was the skin from the lining of my cheeks! I had never had a toothpaste remove skin from the inside of my mouth before, and I don't intend to again. Unless you have a tougher-than-average mouth, avoid this. Rembrandt has a great sensitive teeth formula whitening toothpaste that's a much better option. Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: My hygentist suggested that I use this product because my teeth are sensitive to cold. After two days of using it I had to stop. My tongue and the roof of my mouth felt like they had been burned by a hot beverage and my gums were itchy and terribly inflamed. It has been three days since I stopped using the Sensodyne Tarter Control plus Whitening and my gums are still itching and inflamed. Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: This is a good product. It cleaned my teeth well, and made my mouth feel fresh and tingly. My teeth are somewhat sensitive, and I was able to use this product with no negative side effects. I liked that it's supposed to help whiten your teeth. This was a positive additional feature. Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: This toothpaste tasted very good and seemed to whiten our teeth. We didn't notice any difference in our teeth with regards to sensitivity. However, we'd recommend this product to others. Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: This is a product that I really need. I have very sensitive teeth and just eating citrus can set my teeth aching. After just one week, Sensodyne really seems to be helping. I also like the pleasant flavor and the way it cleans my teeth. I also have a problem with tartar, so the tartar control is a necessity for me. I'd recommend this product highly to everyone. Comments about Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth with Fluoride, Maximum Strength, Tartar Control plus Whitening, 4 oz: I didn't like this at all -- the flavor is so strong that it made my whole mouth and nose hurt. And it didn't seem to do a thing for my sensitive teeth. Displaying reviews 11-20 ![]() |
