Love These But Sizing Runs Small

These diapers are wonderful but the sizing runs small. My baby weighed 8lbs so I thought she'd have a little room in the newborn diapers. The diapers looked like a bikini on her LOL. Good thing I only bought one pack as a trial. However, they worked so well I bought more. The size 2 Seventh Generation are the same size as the size 1 diapers from Whole Foods (just to give you an idea of the sizing structure). I love the natural color, no leaks, lack of cartoon characters and softness! The fasteners are kind of on the wide size but they adhere well and stay put. Having gathers in the back would be an added bonus to eliminate blow-outs.

My baby was 8lbs, and these diapers seemed too small for him - mainly, the problem is that the are short, but way too wide - very odd fit. I will say that the stage 1 do have a better fit. These aren't the softest diapers in the world, but they do absorb (if they fit the baby ok that is)... I'd think before buying this size, but recommend trying the stage 1 size.

The best thing about these diapers is that they are green and they work great! We've never had a leak and I trust the company that they do not use the amount of plastics, etc that other diaper brands use.

I really really like these diapers - they fit great (the newborn size for my 7.2lb baby). Maybe they are not the most absorbent diapers in the world but at least it makes me believe that they acutally are "greener" then other brands. I hated how low the other brand diapers are cut (that hole for the umbilical cord) but these are just perfect. I believe they don't have any scent added to them - at least i don't feel any (other diapers smell like there is a ton of perfume added to them). So for us they are a great fit!!

I use several Seventh Generation products. I liked that they are fragrance free and chlorine free. My newborn did NOT do well with the P*****s that we had in the hospital. Red bum and cranky baby. Came home and put the S.G. diaper on, and he was fine. Holds a ridiculous amount of liquid, yet dry to the touch when changing. Best yet...NO BLOWOUTS or diaper rash!!!! Happy baby and VERY happy parents! Highly recommended

We got two packages of this diaper. The first package didn't leak, but had a really stiff panel in front that seemed uncomfortable; the 2nd package didn't have the panel and was a great diaper. Not sure if the first package was a dud or if the diapers are regularly inconsistent in quality.

A terrible-fittling diaper in part because the materials are stiff. Way too big for our newborn from birth up to 10 weeks. I bought 2 packages and returned the 2nd package immediately after using a diaper from the first package. Not even good as a back-up diaper. Very disappointing product.

I like the 7th Generation diapers a lot for my older daughter, but the newborn diapers are cut too wide (especially between the legs), are awkward to put on and overall do not fit my younger daughter.

These are a great alternative to conventional diapers if cloth diapers aren't an option for you. They are soft and fit well. We have now moved on to the next size for our baby.
