After having 3 children go through the diaper phase rash-free, my fourth child( 3rd girl) was a nightmare. From the moment she was born she developed the worst diaper rash, bloody, raw... It hurt to look at her. We were at the doctor's constantly, I tried every cream out there, including prescriptions. When I asked if it could be her diaper I got told that, that should be the last thing we try, and maybe I should stop Breastfeeding to see if that was the sensitivity! Well that didn't make sense to me so I continued feeding, and bought every diaper available including sensitive skin, gentle, real cotton, and chlorine free. I even bought cloth, which would be the last resort for my chaotic life. After giving each a 3 day trial, and losing hope, I tried the 7th gen diapers. After the first day the rash looked better, it just keep getting better each day after and we never looked back!
She is now almost 17 months and we have been exclusively 7th gen diapering since those first months, without one rash!
When you read below about leaking, don't let it discourage you. As a mom of 4, who has tried EVERY diaper, I can say, they can all leak. Anyone can get a few defective diapers, but I have had far LESS accidents with 7th generation then I ever did when my kids were Pampers, Huggies,Luvs, etc... babies. The only ones that never leaked were the NON-cloth like cover ( and you won't find those anymore).
If you want to help the environment, these are great.
But if you are pulling out your hair switching formulas, rash meds, clothing, bath stuff, etc...
These could be your Miracle! They were mine!
Thank you Seventh Generation!

We cloth diaper, but wanted some disposables for when we're traveling or behind on laundry. I like that these are chlorine free and they have a wide range for each size, but they leak about 25% of the time for day use and 100% for overnight use. They contain the BMs for the most part unless it's a particularly large one. Maybe we're spoiled from using cloth, but I expected these to be more absorbent than they are. My son is 6 months old and 19 pounds, so I imagine that the leaking problem will only become worse as he (and his bladder) get bigger.

Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 3, 16-28 lbs, 124 ea:

We used cloth diapers for our first daughter, but by the time our second came around, we had to give it up due to the oldest's labor intensive medical care. Tho' we were loathe to use disposables, SeventhGeneration was an acceptable option for us.

The sizes do run small, so we order a size larger than we would otherwise choose. Having used two other name brands and a few generics that others have gifted to us, I can say SG is comparable to or even better than others as far as absorbency, snug fit, etc. I'll gladly pay the higher price to ease my conscience a little.

I started using these diapers when my preemie was able to fit in them. I use all natural and organic foods, toys and products on my little one and it makes me feel like a better mom knowing that I am joining in on the effort to save the enviroment one diaper at a time with my little girl. The leakage protection is beyond comparison. They held up in a long night of sleep with no leaks. I personally like the tan diapers... plain and natural looking. I am not a fan of animals or cartoons on a diaper. The sizes are right on target. I can't say enought about these diapers and I highly recommend.

I absolutely love this product! We've been using these diapers since my son was just born. Now, he is 7 months and he never had a diaper rash. They are truly quality diapers - and the best thing - chlorine free which is a must for soft baby skin!

I bought these for our neighbor and their newborn. I'll admit to having compared one to a regular disposable and could see that these were superior, otherwise, I have not changed a diaper - like ever. However, my neighbor raves on these. She would not normally buy them as they cost more, but she is very appreciative of having this brand to put on her new born.

The Diapers were a gift for our Daughter-in-law, who wanted to use chlorine free & natural diapers on our newest grand daughter.
                She loves them!

FWIW, I was using Huggies brand before but wanted to use something that would be more environmentally friendly (that wasn't a cloth.) I highly recommend this diaper -- I love the fit and the absorbency, and the fact that there are no rash worries due to fragrance or other junk that shouldn't be in a diaper, anyway. Tip: I use eBates when I shop drugstore.com so I get some cash back, which makes the price difference between this and Huggies much, much smaller. My son is a wide little guy and a heavy pee-er, so I may end up moving up to size 4 even though he is only 17 lbs.
