After having 3 children go through the diaper phase rash-free, my fourth child( 3rd girl) was a nightmare. From the moment she was born she developed the worst diaper rash, bloody, raw... It hurt to look at her. We were at the doctor's constantly, I tried every cream out there, including prescriptions. When I asked if it could be her diaper I got told that, that should be the last thing we try, and maybe I should stop Breastfeeding to see if that was the sensitivity! Well that didn't make sense to me so I continued feeding, and bought every diaper available including sensitive skin, gentle, real cotton, and chlorine free. I even bought cloth, which would be the last resort for my chaotic life. After giving each a 3 day trial, and losing hope, I tried the 7th gen diapers. After the first day the rash looked better, it just keep getting better each day after and we never looked back!
She is now almost 17 months and we have been exclusively 7th gen diapering since those first months, without one rash!
When you read below about leaking, don't let it discourage you. As a mom of 4, who has tried EVERY diaper, I can say, they can all leak. Anyone can get a few defective diapers, but I have had far LESS accidents with 7th generation then I ever did when my kids were Pampers, Huggies,Luvs, etc... babies. The only ones that never leaked were the NON-cloth like cover ( and you won't find those anymore).
If you want to help the environment, these are great.
But if you are pulling out your hair switching formulas, rash meds, clothing, bath stuff, etc...
These could be your Miracle! They were mine!
Thank you Seventh Generation!

We cloth diaper, but wanted some disposables for when we're traveling or behind on laundry. I like that these are chlorine free and they have a wide range for each size, but they leak about 25% of the time for day use and 100% for overnight use. They contain the BMs for the most part unless it's a particularly large one. Maybe we're spoiled from using cloth, but I expected these to be more absorbent than they are. My son is 6 months old and 19 pounds, so I imagine that the leaking problem will only become worse as he (and his bladder) get bigger.

Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 3, 16-28 lbs, 124 ea:

These are great! We used them with both of our children. We tried G diapers to be truly biodegradable but we only had one very small bathroom and they weren't practical. Seventh Generation diapers are more eco-friendly and better for the child's skin and health compared with standard diapers and I would much rather support their company vs. P&G. They don't leak very often, they are comfortable and usually don't leave that gel all over their bottoms. We used the pull ups with our first (our second isn't quite old enough yet) and they work well too.

Every ONCE IN A WHILE...the diaper will leak. But honestly, that is my fault. Every ONCE IN A WHILE...I leave the diaper on longer than I should (especially overnight). What I love about the diaper is that it is free of all those awful ingredients other diapers have.

The best thing about these diapers is that they are green and they work great! We've never had a leak and I trust the company that they do not use the amount of plastics, etc that other diaper brands use.

The diapers are excellent. We have children with severe eczema and these don't irritate, besides being chlorine free. Also we find drugstore.com to consistently have the lowest price and free shipping which can't be beat! We will continue to be customers for a long time! One wish, that the pull ups wouldn't be sized so small for the age.

Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 3, 16-28 lbs, 124 ea:

I used many brands of diapers from eco-friendly to the standard diapers. We used pampers swaddler sensitive in the beginning because of the wet indicator, but switch to seventh generation soon after for price and environmental reasons. She was in the "Chlorine Free" version for about a year until I read that they changed the diaper to "Free and Clear". Reading a lot of bad reviews, I switched my baby to earth's best, nature babycare, huggies pure and natural, huggies little mover, pampers cruisers, luvs, BJ brand, cloth diapers, etc. To make the long story short, my daughter never really have diaper rash issue, but by the time she was 18month old, she kept on scratching her lower back where the elastic of diaper sat. It got very red and blister like. Luvs, BJ brand, Pampers, and Huggies all made her itch, so I finally switched back to Seventh Generation. After a couple of days, she finally stopped itching. The fit is better than "Chlorine Free" version, but the diapers always always leave white specks (sap?) on my baby's bums. They don't bother her, but just annoying to wipe off. My toddler is extremely active, but I never have issues with leaks, unless I leave her in her diaper for too long. Out of all the diapers I tried, I still like Seventh Generation the most.

Great deal on here with discounts!! If you can get them on sale, these are my top pick in diapers. More absorbant than the Pampers night time diapers I tried. No diapers rashes ever! Very soft and never smell like urine or chemicals. I've tried all kinds of diapers and these are the best for the money in my opinion.

I started my baby in Earth's Best diapers but soon made the switch to Seventh Generation. They are much softer and less bulky on her bottom but absorb just as well.

Everything promised and a decision you can feel good about when cloth is not available. Only improvements remaining is to remove the dye from the outside layer and create biodegradable packaging.
