Warnings
Diaper Safety: We care about your baby's safety, and we want to remind you that this packaging, or a torn piece of diaper, could cause choking for a child. And like any piece of clothing, diapers are flammable. Disposing of Disposables: Flush the waste, not the diaper! When you're throwing away a used diaper, empty the waste into the toilet, wrap the diaper tightly, and throw it away. Keeping the human waste out of the landfill is safer for all of us.

I love these diapers. I am trying to be as organic as possible for my little guy, and these diapers are a great compromise between traditional commercial disposables and cloth. They work great. The only time we have leaks is overnight sometimes, so I got some of the liners you can get (looks like a maxi pad) and that solved it. I feel like I am doing my best for him and for the environment. They do tend to be sized for longer and leaner babies, so if yours is a little hefty around the middle, you might have to go up a size sooner than you think. Also, drugstore and others stores have them on sale frequently, and Seventh Generation has coupons available on their website, so you can get them more economically than you think if you make a little effort!

We were not impressed with the newborn or stage 1 diapers at all. They did not fit well, and were the least absorbent compared to all of the other brands that we tried. For first time parents with newborns, I would strongly advise not purchasing these - get the ones with the wet-strip indicator. Very important in terms of getting a sense of your newborn's number of wet diapers/output.
I would strongly encourage people to do their research before purchasing any Seventh Generation diapers. We saw an investigative report on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, available online) about Seventh Generation's misleading marketing information regarding their claims about being chlorine free. Apparently all brands of diapers are without this particular type of chlorine additive, making Seventh Generation diapers no different from any other type. They charge almost twice as much for their diapers, which they also dye a brown colour to make it look like they are made from recycled or reused materials, but they are not. I would presume that the same would apply to their maxi-pads.
As we specifically paid more money for these being under the impression that they were environmentally friendly, I am very, very appalled that they have been getting away with this. I strongly encourage you all to do further investigation on your own before wasting money on these products. They are misleading their consumers & should not be allowed to advertise their products as such.
The best thing about these diapers is that they are green and they work great! We've never had a leak and I trust the company that they do not use the amount of plastics, etc that other diaper brands use.
I have used these diapers for almost 2 years on my little one, and never had leaks. Two praises I give these diapers are my daughter has never had diaper rash while using them (whereas at her dad's he uses Huggies and she comes home a little red and irritated). Second, I once ran out from my case order and in the meantime went to store and bought their organic "natural" diaper and disliked the way my daughter smelled like potty. It was as if there was no odor protection. She wears the Seventh Gen all night and wakes up smelling fresh. Love these, they are not just a brown diaper like Jessica Alba called them, with her overly expensive line of organic designer diapers. I buy these diapers by case, get $5 off, and compared to a case at [@] save money and I am proud of the diapers my little one wears. You can afford to use a great organic diaper!
I switch between disposables and cloth. These diapers never instigate a rash like your typical diapers do. I feel good knowing that I have a quality diaper for a great price.
I have used several other seventh gen products before I got pregnant with our son. I knew if the other products were great these would be as well. He has NEVER had diaper rash from the seventh gen diapers OR wipes. They are the BEST!!!
It is utterly unbelievable how much these diapers hold. My son woke up one morning and I swear the diaper weighed at LEAST a pound! NO JOKE!
I wish they had these at the hospital when he was born, as the brand they carried there made his little bum raw and red and he was VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT IT. When we got home the first thing I did was put a seventh gen on him and he was good to go!
I notice a distinct difference when I used these diapers. My child is far less likely to have diaper rash with these. Plus there is no mysterious gel residue like with other diapers.
Love Seventh Generation Diapers. New and improved are as good as the old ones. I also love that they always are handing out coupons on products and if you have an account at seventhgeneration.com you can print them out monthly for all their products. I have tried every diaper out there and i am always going back. They are great on leaks especially with infants and their explosive behinds! Great products!
I received a package of these about a month ago. We only use disposables at night since our son wears cloth during the day. He is sensitive to all the major brands (Huggies, etc), so we use Seventh Generation as our night diaper. As a night diaper, it needs to hold a lot and hold well. Before the redesign my son would once in a while (maybe once every two weeks). In the new diapers it is at least two or three times more often. He is still at the low end of the size range, so I can't blame it on needing to size up. What I like about the redesign is the tabs. The tabs seem a bit more stretchy and easier to find when putting on the diaper (though maybe I am the only one who constantly puts the old version on backwards because I didn't see the tabs).
I use these diapers for my 2 1/2 year old and my 7 month old. My 7 month old goes up a size at night in order to stay dry. They work great, are great for their sensitive skin, and I didn't notice any difference in performance with the updated (smaller and less bulky) diapers. Keep up the great products seventh generation!!!
