Then the rash spread to the rest of her body, and I had had it. We purchased every cream/lotion/powder on the market, tried antibiotics, anti-fungal oral meds, they swabbed her for strep, staph...everything was coming back negative and no medication was working. By this time, mommy and baby were at their wits end, so I took her to my dermatologist, and he swore up and down that she was allergic to her diapers. He wanted me to try cloth diapers and come back in two weeks. I suppose I'm lazy, call me whatever you want, but i REALLLLLY didn't want to go the cloth diaper route, so I did a lot of research on hypoallergenic diapers. I found the 7th generation diapers and put my order in. BOOM, rash GONE. I was surprised at how much I liked the diapers too. They are soft, fit nicely and absorbent. In our defense, she was on an antibiotic at the same time I switched diapers, so it's very possible the antibiotic cleared it up, but I'm not taking my chances. The only thing that stinks (literally!) about the diaper is when she potties, it stinks, but hey, that's not the diapars fault! It would defeat the purpose if it had fragrance in them! 7th Generation saved my sanity (and my daughters!) and I'll never go back to the "other" brands! I think they work fine; the environmental benefits are wonderful as well as not exposing my children to extra chemicals. I diaper two kids right now both with different body types, one very thin and petite the other a much bigger build, one is a girl and one is a boy. I found in a week we have had 4 leaks, 2 for each. I don't think the absorbency is as good as Pampers or Huggies but it's passable. The diaper just has stretchy tabs; the diaper itself does not stretch around the waist. Huggies has the ideal fit with the most overall stretch and Pampers in a close second. It's nice to have this on the market but with that said I can't endorse a product that is twice the price yet fails to deliver a superior product. Should they "improve" the fit again and model it after a Huggies or Pampers then I would be happy to spend more and purchase 7th generation. Cons Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: We thought these diapers were thin when we first received them, but have been pleasantly surprised by their absorbancy. No leaks so far for our chubby and very active 21-month-old. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: Good diapers, no leaks. Feels good to be nicer to the environment. I also like having diapers without pictures on them too. Service and delivery comments: I had to have four shipments to get the case worth. The warehouse kept sending individual packs instead of a case. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: seventh generation are our go-to disposable diapers. they're trim (really trim - my boy's pants always fall down when he's wearing them), they don't cause diaper rash, and they don't smell like chemicals. my 18 month old can wear one overnight (10+ hours) and wake up with a diaper that is heavy, but still entirely intact. no leaks! they can be a bit more expensive than other brands, but i say worth every penny. Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: I liked the fact the diapers were unscented. They didn't irritate my little ones skin, but they did run small. We usually buy size 5 in other brands and clearly needed a 6 with this brand. I would recommed getting a size bigger! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: These work well even overnight. They aren't decorative or particularly soft, but my son doesn't seem to mind that. They are more costly than the other brands we've used (Huggies, Pampers, etc.). But we decided the extra cost was worth it for environmental & health reasons. The other natural diapers we tried gave our son a nasty rash on his back where it irritated his sensitive skin and they cost the same. Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: I've been using this product for a while now and these are by far some of the best diapers. They are good for the environment as far as disposables go, and they don't contain the nasty chemicals and are chlorine-free which I love. They've always had a great fit, and the price is reasonable too! I've never had a problem with them leaking either, if they did leak ever, it was because my kiddo was ready for the next size up. I'm a fan for sure! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 8/17/2010 We made the switch Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: We switched from Pampers when LO was 10 months old - I wish we had done it earlier! Comments about Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Diapers, Stage 5, 27+ lbs: Some of the other diapers that are eco-friendly seem stiff and uncomfortable. They just dont fit as well either. I love these diapers and will use them if we decide to have another baby. Plus, this website provides them for the cheapest that I have found anywhere (and I have really looked for the cheapest)!!
