I used to often get a 'diaper rash' type issue at the end of my period, and that disappears with this product...it must be the chemicals and/or chlorine. I agree with the reviews that this pad is not big enough for the heaviest flow, especially overnight, I got leaks using it (I have an exceptionally heavy flow). But during the day, for running around when regular pads cause chafing/sweating that leads to irritation, these are perfect. I stick with maximum protection produts at night though. Please make a larger ultra thin pad, 7th Gen! And sell in normal stores. I really wanted to like these pads, but after two packs (as well as two packs of the regulars), I don't think I'll be purchasing another. I find that these pads actually irritate my skin where the Stayfrees I used did not. These pads feel very "plasticky" to me and my skin seems to always feel a slight burn when I use them. By day 5 of my period, I have a rash. I prefer the feel of the material used in Stayfree ultra thin pads--and if we're talking "natural" pads, I prefer the feel of Natracare pads--but they were too leaky for me as well. I change my pads often, but these even more so because I don't find them to absorb very well and they feel wet (I have a moderate flow on my heaviest days--not heavy like I used to have pre 3 children). Even with the length of these overnights, I still have had leaks. Like another poster mentioned, these seem to bunch up at the rear for me and cause me to have leaks from the bunching up as well (I'm petite, 5', 105lbs). I have not had this problem with the Stayfree overnights or longs. I would also suggest to Seventh Generation that they drop the whole "individually wrapped pad" thing--especially that they wrapt each one in plastic. I think I will try cotton cloth pads. Even if they feel wet or I leak, at least I won't be contributing to our landfills! Cons Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultra-Thin Pads, Overnight with Wings, 14 set: These are nice pads. They are comfortable and they stay in place. They absorb nicely. However, they do have a slightly plasticy feel to them. If you want something that truly feels like cotton, go for the Natracare brand. But overall these are great and I would use them again. Comments about Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultra-Thin Pads, Overnight with Wings, 14 set: Not a product that could replace my favorite name-brand product. This basic design can't replace the reliability of the new foam technology and feel-dry design that I trust for heavy days, but it is DEFINITELY replacing it for lighter days. Hopefully Seventh Generation will come up with a green product that can compete, but until then, I'll be green about 3/4 of the time. Comments about Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultra-Thin Pads, Overnight with Wings, 14 set: Most regular sanitary pads are bleached using chlorine bleach - this is a toxin. Would you want that against your skin month after month, year after year? These pads are often on sale at Drugstore. They work. They are safe. BUY! Comments about Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultra-Thin Pads, Overnight with Wings, 14 set: These pads are the best disposables ever! They are way more dependable than more well known brands like Always infinity (which leaked badly; think new mattress). These are way better and more affordable. Try them you'll love them! Comments about Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultra-Thin Pads, Overnight with Wings, 14 set: These natural pads are the most comfortable ones I have ever used. Would not consider any other type after having used Seventh Generation. They cause no irritation as the non-natural pads often do.
