Comments about Seventh Generation Hand Care Dish Liquid, Lavender Vanilla, 18 oz:

The product is nice enough, but the bottle is so awkward to use that I won't be buying it again. Once I manage to get it open, I go to squeeze just a little and a big glob comes out.

Comments about Seventh Generation Hand Care Dish Liquid, Lavender Vanilla, 18 oz:

It's true the bottle they use for this product is total junk. It's clearly designed to force you to use more soap. I really hope it doesn't start popping up on the normal dish soap (without "hand care"). It's hard to squeeze, and then when soap finally comes out you get a TON of it. I happen to use one of those brushes that holds soap in the handle - the soap bottle works okay for this. You still end up wasting some soap, but not a ton. Regardless, I'm going to go back to the normal soap, I didn't actually see any improvement from the "hand care".

          excellent product

Comments about Seventh Generation Hand Care Dish Liquid, Lavender Vanilla, 18 oz:

I have sensitive skin and many dish soaps, even so-called organic or natural ones, leave me with dry hands and flaky skin afterward. This is one of the very few that does not. I agree the new packaging is not an improvement but the product itself is excellent.

Comments about Seventh Generation Hand Care Dish Liquid, Lavender Vanilla, 18 oz:

This dish soap itself is very good (hence 2 stars); it is the packaging that is terrible. We have been using Seventh Generation dish soap for a few years now and have been happy with it all along. We generally buy the regular version (not "hand care") but this was the only Seventh Generation packaging option at the store one day. So I bought it, but I wish I hadn't. As another reviewer stated, this packaging is wasteful because it is impossible to get just a small amount. Anytime you squeeze this bottle you get a big dollop, anywhere between a teaspoon and a tablespoon. Occasionally I can get a smaller amount if I give a very quick, forceful squeeze, but it doesn't always work. I wish Seventh Generation would come out with a pump like Method did. For now, I will plan to put my dish soap in an empty hand soap pump instead.

Comments about Seventh Generation Hand Care Dish Liquid, Lavender Vanilla, 18 oz:

This new design seems like a good idea--easy dispensing. It certainly looks cool. The problem comes when you only need a small amount. Squeezing the bottle produces about a teaspoon at once. We were never able to find a way to dispense less at once well. When the bottle started to empty, about 1/3 or 1/4 left, it requires increasing pressure to dispense anything. You really have to squeeze it hard! Is defeats the purpose of the design. This dispenses even more soap when you squeeze really hard. We emptied the bottle into another container and will not buy again. I wish this were a pump instead.
