This detergent works very well, compared to the big brands, there is no reason not to use something easier on mother nature. The scented is very light scented, unlike the big brands, and as I have by necessity bought unscented in the past, this detergent is lightly and pleasantly scented. I highly recommend this and their dish detergent.

This is the only detergent we are not allergic to. Cleans great and rinses out well.

I've been using Seventh Generation products for months and couldn't wait to try the laundry detergent. It has a label underneath a peeling label on the back. Basically, the instructions are folded inside. After numerous attempts to peel the label open, all I ended up doing was peeling the label off of the bottle. I figured it should be easy enough to just use the measuring cup but the fill lines are so hard to see. The measuring cup also has a spill containing rim that is great for catching spills however when you put the cap back on, it slowly spills down the side of the bottle making a mess. As far as performance, my clothes have never been so clean or soft, not a trace of residue left behind. I do not know if I would buy it again though just because of the packaging. It's too expensive to waste product by using too much or having it leak out of the bottle.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product. It smells good, especially if you like lavender. I have yet to come across a stain it won't remove. because I have a front loading washer, I can use less than the recommended amount and make it last longer. My only problems are the expense in comparison to other detergents and my first bottle came with a broken lid and as a result a small amount had leaked into the shrink wrap. The Seventh Generation staff responded immediately to my report and I couldn't be happier.

This detergent is effective and easy to use. I also discovered this scent that I love. Wish it were a bit less expensive, but that's not a deterrent.

We've been using this detergent for years and are very happy with it. It does the job without irritating dyes, fragrances, or harsh chemicals, and is not tested on animals, which is important to us.

We have used Seventh Generation since the products were first released on store shelves. It can be a hit on our budget from time to time, but it is great for those that have allergies.

While this product is difficult to find, it is worth the search. I started using it because it is good for the environment and has such a nice fresh scent. I continue to use it for the same reasons, but am delighted that is works well in my HE washing machine and does an excellent job cleaning my laundry. I also use the Seventh Generation fabric softener with the same scent and my clothes and towels smell great!
