It's lathers wells and is clean rinsing. You don't have to worry about residue. It also helps that there are no citrus oils b/c you can't use dish soap like that on stainless steel pots. I just wish that their scented soaps were a little nicer smelling. They're OK. It does not foam up as well and I find that I am using a lot more of this than I did with the Dawn. It is also not nearly as good at cutting grease. When I have a greasy frying pan (anodized) to clean, I find myself having to scrub and scrub and scrub and the pan still has oily spots.
