The smell is great (I like the lemongrass and clementine zest as well but it's a bit more difficult to find). It cleans as well as any other dish soap on the market. At first I felt as if I was using more product than I did with conventional dish soaps, needing to add soap to the sponge more frequently than when I was using Dawn or another conventional brand. That said, it does lather really well. The best part for me is there is no filmy residue on the dishes. With conventional dish soaps often there are traces of the soap left behind that you can taste in your food. You have to be careful not to pour out more than you need. It does do a decent job of cleaning, although I think Method's dish soap is better. The one area where Seventh Generation excels is packaging. The bottle is similar to Dawn and other dish detergents. It's easy to squeeze and to hold onto and does not clog up frequently like the Method bottle. I do wish it was clear so that it's easy to tell how much product is left. I have tried several scents and I like them all. I do feel that it is a little weak in the suds department. But I would continue to buy it. Service and delivery comments: Quick as usual. I would say it works as effectively if not better than any name brand dishsoap you can buy in the store, but the HUGE plus is that it is good for our planet. I like all the different scents and they are not strong or overpowering in the least. they all work the same. do something good for you, your family, and the earth and switch to this dishsoap!
