I love the idea of the Lemongrass and Clementine fragrance. Boy, was I ever in for a treat! Not only does this natural liquid soap smell clean and delightfully citrusy, but it really is a more effective grease-cutter than the brand name product that I have relied on for many years! The price, especially right now (January, 2011), is also a terrific deal. So, what's not to like? That's why I am going to order several more bottles of this item, while this special discount is still running. I like Seventh Generation for laundry detergent (one of the only phospate-free laundry detergents for HE machines) and they work great so I had high hopes for this. I should mention that we have no dishwasher so I handwash all my dishes, perhaps that's why I'm so picky. If you are spending more money for an eco-friendly dish soap it should at least work well. This did not work well at all and you have to use a lot to get any cleaning power. NOT the best bank for your eco-friendly buck; I recommend the PLANET brand dish soap instead. The smell is incredible. And it cleans great. I am really picky about my cleaning products having to work REALLY well, and so far, every Seventh Generation product I have tried works GREAT. Plus, I get the added benefit of knowing that my cleaing products aren't creating toxins in my house or harming the environment. I have a kitty, and I like the thought that he can walk all over the house and then give himself a bath without ingesting any toxins from cleaning products! I now am using nearly every Seventh Generation product that they make. It smells absolutely wonderful, and I like that the consistency of it isn't as concentrated and soapy like traditional dish soaps, but still does the job. What I mean is that if I use it to wash my hands, for instance, I'm not sitting there for five minutes before all the soap is washed off. It cleans dishes well when I hand wash, and I feel great about it being environmentally friendly. This is one Seventh Generation product I will definitely continue to buy!
