I love the idea of the Lemongrass and Clementine fragrance. Boy, was I ever in for a treat! Not only does this natural liquid soap smell clean and delightfully citrusy, but it really is a more effective grease-cutter than the brand name product that I have relied on for many years! The price, especially right now (January, 2011), is also a terrific deal. So, what's not to like? That's why I am going to order several more bottles of this item, while this special discount is still running. I like Seventh Generation for laundry detergent (one of the only phospate-free laundry detergents for HE machines) and they work great so I had high hopes for this. I should mention that we have no dishwasher so I handwash all my dishes, perhaps that's why I'm so picky. If you are spending more money for an eco-friendly dish soap it should at least work well. This did not work well at all and you have to use a lot to get any cleaning power. NOT the best bank for your eco-friendly buck; I recommend the PLANET brand dish soap instead. Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: It works just fine and it smells great! I don't have too many greasy dishes, so it works well to me. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: This soap smells nice and does well for some dishes. I'm pretty picky about my dishes however, and although this soap does sud pretty well, it doesn't cut grease well at all. Sorry, but I'm going back to Method. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I am used to a few more suds. Prefer the Mrs. Meyer's dish detergent at this point but I am going to try more. Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I was looking for something that didn't contain any triclosan or petro chemicals cause I am very sensitive to them as they trigger nose bleeds for me unfortinately. Even doing something simple as washing dishes. I didn't think that would cause a nose bleed but it does. When I got triclosan completely out of my life my nose bleeds disappeared. It feels so gentle on your skin as well. There is no soapy feeling on your hands when you are done they just feel really soft. Since there is no petro chemicals you do have to put a little more effort though into scrubbing. Don't pay any attention to the posts that say this does not SUD well cause it has SLS it SUDS like a normal soap. They are probably just trying to bring reviews down. It does pour out a little fast however but you do only need a dab to go a long way. Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: This on-line store has the absolute best price on this product. I have bought it in my local grocery and also the natural food store, but DrugStore.com beats even the sale price anywhere. It's a great product -- effective and environmentally friendly. Can't beat that combo. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I like the light scent as it does not leave a lingering scent in my pots and tupperware as other brands I've used. It also does not leave a gross or slimy feel on my hands after use. It does seem to take more soap than other brands and I've used the bottle up several times faster than other brands. My husband complains about it not cutting grease well enough. I somewhat agree, but I think this might be part of getting used to the new "feel" of this soap. Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I am casual cleaner, hubby is meticulous and does most of the cleaning, but we both appreciate the fresh clean smell, the lack of residue and the sparkle to jewelry and dishes from 7th generation. Grapefruit extract also is one of the best germicidals so there is a bonus to an already great product. Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: This is THE BEST dish washing soap I've used. It cleans great and has a wonderful scent. I also like the fact that it's not a petroleum based product. This dish soap is also is an amazing paint brush cleaner which I discovered when I was repainting my house. My dad was so impressed with it's paint brush cleaning abilities that he bought a bottle. He now only uses Seventh Generation dish soap for his dishes and for household project clean ups like painting and staining. Displaying reviews 41-50 ![]() |
