I love the idea of the Lemongrass and Clementine fragrance. Boy, was I ever in for a treat! Not only does this natural liquid soap smell clean and delightfully citrusy, but it really is a more effective grease-cutter than the brand name product that I have relied on for many years! The price, especially right now (January, 2011), is also a terrific deal. So, what's not to like? That's why I am going to order several more bottles of this item, while this special discount is still running. I like Seventh Generation for laundry detergent (one of the only phospate-free laundry detergents for HE machines) and they work great so I had high hopes for this. I should mention that we have no dishwasher so I handwash all my dishes, perhaps that's why I'm so picky. If you are spending more money for an eco-friendly dish soap it should at least work well. This did not work well at all and you have to use a lot to get any cleaning power. NOT the best bank for your eco-friendly buck; I recommend the PLANET brand dish soap instead. I use very hot water when I wash my water bottles, sharp knives, pots and pans. I usually buy store brands to save money. The scent is pleasant and natural, not overwhelming as with some other dish soaps. I also notice that Seventh Generation is does not have the slimy feel to my hands as with other soaps. Yes, this product is not the cheapest (althougth the best price I've found is at Drugstore.com) but it takes less to do the job. As more people use Seventh Generation and other green products, the price will come down. After all, what price do you put on the environment that you and your grandchildren will inhabit? Pros
