I love the idea of the Lemongrass and Clementine fragrance. Boy, was I ever in for a treat! Not only does this natural liquid soap smell clean and delightfully citrusy, but it really is a more effective grease-cutter than the brand name product that I have relied on for many years! The price, especially right now (January, 2011), is also a terrific deal. So, what's not to like? That's why I am going to order several more bottles of this item, while this special discount is still running. I like Seventh Generation for laundry detergent (one of the only phospate-free laundry detergents for HE machines) and they work great so I had high hopes for this. I should mention that we have no dishwasher so I handwash all my dishes, perhaps that's why I'm so picky. If you are spending more money for an eco-friendly dish soap it should at least work well. This did not work well at all and you have to use a lot to get any cleaning power. NOT the best bank for your eco-friendly buck; I recommend the PLANET brand dish soap instead. Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: The smell is pleasant and the low-sudsing is great for the planet. Bubbles/foaming do not equal cleaning power! Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I love this dish soap! It is great for the environment and you! I hand wash my dishes everyday and I have been using this brand for 5 months now without any problems. It smells great and it isn't heavy and slimy like most other brands. The suds don't last for a long time like some people disliked, but if you wash your dishes right after running the water you shouldn't have any problems with that. It also cleans well and haven't had any problems with it not cleaning something. Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I haven't had cracked thumb & fingertips since I started using 7th Gen. Great product, works well, and good for the planet. Doesn't have an overpowering smell, but that's good for me. I have to have an antibacterial brand around for tough, stinky stuff, but rarely an issue. Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: As a previous reviewer said - this dishsoap cleans very well without being slimy. I have a water softener and other detergents can keep feeling like they need another rinse. This cuts grease and baked foods then rinses off. I wonder about those who didn't get great results - possibly it doesn't work as well with very hard water but no softener? Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I love Seventh Generation products and am willing to pay more to help create a larger market for items that don't harm the environment. This is the best dish soap I've ever used! I'll never go back to pruducts that contain harmful phosphates. Pros

Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid, Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, 25 oz: I bought this product thinking about the environment, but I probably will not buy it again. It does not clean grease off of pots, let alone plates. Have to wash greasy things twice. What I did like was the smell and that it's not rough on hands. Displaying reviews 81-90 ![]() |
