Sometimes you smell it without trying. The important thing is it leaves no scent on my hands. I feel it really cleans my hands AND doesn't dry them out. I was having that problem with a Nature's Gate liquid hand soap that I loved the scent of. This is a great price for liquid soap and you get just what you need. Liquid soaps shouldn't be more than $5 a bottle but some go over $10-$15! This is a great product and the brand in general is on a great mission. I was disappointed when a local store discontinued this one in favor of the same brand's scented soaps. But then I found it here on Drugstore.com, and I'm delighted. AND the price is better. The pump always works well (unlike some brands), and the container is nicely balanced so it doesn't tip over. I keep one in both bathrooms and the kitchen (and several in the pantry so I don't run out!) Excellent value and product.

Best Uses Comments about Seventh Generation Natural Hand Wash, Just Clean Unscented, 12 fl oz: This soap was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I need a fragrance free soap and this bottle seemed to be a good value. I like the design of the bottle and the pump works very well. After using it for a week I noticed my hands were very dry. It's non-irritating, but can be drying. I'll stick with soap meant to be moisturizing.

I am a painter/artist, so I can get pretty messy. I have been using Seventh Generation products for 3 years since developing sensitivities to other products that contain dyes, fragrances, masking fragrances, lanolin, alcohol, etc.

Chemical perfumes contain toxins and I'm not interested in that. I'm so glad there is an affordable natural soap that doesn't dry out my skin in the winter.

Service and delivery comments: The product didn't arrive in good condition. I bought 2 and both were leaking the soap out of the top screw-on-pump that was not screwed on tightly. Luckily the product was fully wrapped in clear plastic so the liquid didn't get on the other things I ordered and the shipment box. I'm more upset about losing product than the mess it caused.
