When my local health food store stopped carrying the Shikai Borage Dry Skin Therapy products, I tried several other recommended products. Nothing comes close to the skin-nourishing, clean quality of this product! The borage really moisturizes and nourishes the skin on a deep level. My face looks younger and wrinkles and fine lines are less visible. This is my favorite!

This product worked on the back of my hands that were chapped, dried out, scratchy feeling. In 24 hours, just as they say, the dried out roughness was gone.

I am a FL licensed Esthetician for the past 14 years, my skin used to be combination to OILY and now in my early 40's it became combination to NORMAL, but I sleep with the air conditioning ON all night long because of the weather in South Florida and because of the use of the Retin-A micro, my skin get really dry and I look old in the morning so I really need a GOOD MOISTURIZER. I was using Nutritic from La Roche-posey, and I didn't love it ( I used 2 tubes of nutritic), then I went to use the Dermalogica Super Rich $77,00 and I used 3 JARS/pump of it, but one day I discovered Shikai and I gave it a try since Dermalogica is REALLY THICK cream even though it doesn't dry out=absorb too quickly and the jar doesn't last long enough. My experience with Shikai 24 hours is: light lotion, easy to apply, my skin feels tight, firm, and moisturized ALL night long like dermalogica used to do with my skin and SHIKAI is MUCH CHEAPER!!!!!! I tried another day other moisturizer from dermalogica and my skin was dry and ugly in the morning so I applied Shikai and my skin was firm, tight and beautiful in the next morning!!!!!! I also LOVE the eye cream but I hate the shikai cleanser for dry skin.

My skin is pretty sensitive especially during the winter. The cold, wind, and dry desert weather would causing my cheeks and jawline to be itchy and irritated. I must have bought 3-4 different moisturizers ranging from drug store priced to department store brands and nothing worked. After some research, I came across this moisturizer and decided to give it a try. Finally, I found something for my skin. It is non-fragrant, just thick/creamy enough, and it actually moisturizes my skin instead of just sitting on top of my face. My only complaint is that the cream becomes a little sticky then dries very quickly after you start distribution. So you got to work fast!! I would definitely buy this again. I think this will be my go-to winter moisturizer.

Lots of "sensitive" products irritate my skin or end up discontinued. This product is really gentle, keeps skin from feeling parched and tight. Really does not have any scent.

This product does NOT work for my severely dry skin. I really wanted it to.
I wish that I could find just 1 product that would work for me. My skin is dry and itching and my hands bleed at times.

When I put this on my face, I just feel ahhhh! No stinging or discomfort. My face feels fully moisturized using about half the amount of other moisturizers. If you have "mature", sensitive, dry skin - this is the fix for you.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the thickness. It is very moisturizing though. Good for night. Would be too thick and uncomfortable to wear during the day.

I used it for when I had a severe, scaly, sensitive rash on my face. Anything I put on it tended to burn including sunblock and foundation. I tried this product one night after receiving a sample. Amazing! It didn't sting or irritate my rash at all. And after 2 nights of applying it, the scaliness went away. Will definitely purchase full size in the future!
