I have been trying to get my mate to use it on his very dry winter skin/eczema spots on his body. It seems to be helping (for when he remembers to use it). I had one spot of flaky eczema and it seems to be helping (applying a few times a day to the spot), but it isn't completely gone yet. I haven't had dry, cracked hands yet this winter, and I've been using this a few times a day on them (before bed, before going out, after washing dishes). This lotion doesn't leave a greasy or slimy feeling, it absorbs well and leaves my skin soft. At first, I thought the bottle seemed small, but it has been a few months and it isn't empty yet. The only thing I don't love about it is that even though it is unscented, it has an "unscented lotion" smell. A slightly oily smell that sometimes reminds me of the smell of raw egg whites, but it is very mild! I tend to notice smells that most people don't. Otherwise, this is a great moisturizer for very dry skin. VS Most Liked Negative Review Heavy cream that does help Shikai Borage Dry Skin Therapy was okay. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad. It does go on thick and heavy, feeling like it sits on the skin as a barrier to keep moisture in and the elements out of your skin. It has a "dull" scent which means there is no perfume-like scent, but it is not without scent. I have dry skin (even in the warm summer) and eczema, so have tried a lot of different moisturizing products. Based on my experience, this product is average. I prefer the Aveeno line because it protects my skin longer and goes on a bit smoother. Comments about ShiKai Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Adult Lotion, 8 fl oz: I would definitely buy THIS brand. Was recommended to me at a health store, had been buying there, but is $4.50 cheaper at drugstore.com Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about ShiKai Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Adult Lotion, 8 fl oz: I have struggled with adult onset eczema for years and have tried every lotion under the sun. This is the only thing I will use. I doesn't smell and I put it on religiously after showering, sometimes also before bed during the winter months. Nothing else, including prescription creams has done more to keep my eczema at bay. Now, when my 6 month old baby started showing signs of dry patches on his skin I started using this on him after his bath and the spots disappeared. So much better than the other baby lotions on the market that have drying ingredients like alcohol in them! If this product ever disappears I don't know what I'd do! I only wish it was cheaper since I go through so much of it, but its worth it to me. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about ShiKai Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Adult Lotion, 8 fl oz: I received a sample of this and tried it when I had an unexplainable rash. I had tried my high-end moisturizers but they didn't do much for my irritated skin. When I applied this lotion, it was very soothing. It wasn't greasy feeling and moisturized my skin. After a few days of using it, my skin felt healthier. I still use this lotion, especially when I get itchy skin in the wintertime. I gave a bottle to a co-worker who was under-going chemotherapy and she was complaining of painfully dry, cracked skin. She loved it! It was the first lotion she had tried that didn't irritate her tender skin and also moisturized/healed her skin. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about ShiKai Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Adult Lotion, 8 fl oz: This is the only cream that cure the eczema I get my hands from winter and excessive washing. Not even prescription steroid ointments work as well. But this lotion is not greasy or heavy, I can use it as an all over body lotion after showers too, and I use it my kids in winter for eczema as well. Comments about ShiKai Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Adult Lotion, 8 fl oz: I first purchased a small trial size of this at a health food grocery chain for my dry wintery hands. I admit that I was a bit skeptical since it seems like an all-natural product. Wow, I'm so glad I tried it. This stuff works better than the national brand I was buying at the drugstore. And I feel good knowing I'm putting a more natural product on my skin. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about ShiKai Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Adult Lotion, 8 fl oz: I have used 2 bottles of this and like it. Bought it for dry skin that itched. However, I just tried Burt's Bee's Milk and Honey body lotion and love it! It works better for itching than this Skikai body lotion. Comments about ShiKai Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Adult Lotion, 8 fl oz: This lotion is the best I've ever used. I've tried everything from Aveeno Skin Relief to Lubriderm Intense Skin Repair to Gold Bond Healing to AmLactin (which had a strong ammonia smell) and none of them delivered the promised 24 hours of moisturizing relief that this lotion does. In fact, because of the fragrance, most of them had a tendency to burn and sting some areas of my body that are very dry.
