I use this for am/pm moisturizer and rate this as Average. The feel/texture/smell are all good and it also absorbs easily into my skin without causing breakouts or irritating my rosacea. I like the fact that it has an SPF.

There is just nothing great about it. I used the entire tube and am now shopping for a moisturizer that improves something - wrinkles, rosacea, dark spots, anything!

Clinique was my go to in my 20's, Estee Lauder in my 30's, Dermalogica in my late 30's-early 40's... now at 48 I need a moisturizer that does it's job AND improves my skin. Being more "green" now, I am determined to find one that is cruelty free & natural.

After a year-long saga to realize my prior moisturizer was causing my near perfect skin to break out into a rash, I've been on the search for a mild moisturizer to do the job going forward. I like this one, and it goes on nicely. I don't mind that it's heavier, as I'm in Eastern Europe and have a long, cold winter ahead of me. Great for my dry, sensitive, skin, and I love that there is practically no smell to it at all. Frankly, it works for me as well as another moisturizer four times the cost. I don't find this one expensive.

After I got past the fact that this is the most I've ever spent on moisturizer and actually put it on, I realized this is the best stuff I've ever bought. I have extremely dry, fair skin so I am constantly looking for a daytime moisturizer that is deeply moisturizing without being greasy, has SPF, does not test on animals, and does not have parabens. This meets all of those requirements. It absorbs quickly so I can put on makeup shortly after applying, and I only have to use a little at a time, so the tube will last me for at least 2 months. The smell is also pretty neutral, which I appreciate.

I have searched for years for a moisturizer to help with my dry skin....this is it. May be a bit heavy if you do not have dry skin, but it works great if you do. I am very picky about smells, especially for facial moisturizers and this has a very, very light pleasant scent. when i use this daily, my dry winter skin is smooth and soft.

I love the Shikai brand products for their natural properties. I particularly love this moisturizer for it's non-irritating properties to my sensative skin. Other products redden my face or irritate but not this one. It is a nice base for other products and makeup. I won't use anything else.

I have tried many many SPF moisturizers, most often the SPF makes the moisturizers so greasy and many of the natural or organic products are outrageously priced. This product is very reasonably priced and it isn't greasy or heavy! It does have more of a gritty texture out of the tube but doesn't translate to your skin that way at all. I don't have an opinion on the smell one way or the other.

I have combination skin and i tried using it for winter time, when I get dry patches on my face. This cream moisturizes well, but after applying it, my face feels greasy and looks shiny and I can fix it only with putting makeup on, a lot of it, to get rid of the greasy shiny look...

Great companion product to the Borage cleanser. You don't need a large amount, and a little bit goes a long way. It's not greasy and absorbs quickly, and doesn't interfere with other products/makeup. My face doesn't feel dry after using it. Love this product!

I was paying double the price for a similar product and found this works as well, if not better. It was recommended in a Health magazine so I tried it. I was looking to change my beauty products to a more natural line and this was a perfect fit. I don't like to use artificial or fragranced products. This to me is natural AND effective.
