I've been using Shout gel for years now. I think I'm the only person I know who doesn't fly into a panic when a tablecloth or shirt gets stained because Shout truly removes all stains - turmeric, red wine, chocolate, blood, mud, etc. You don't need to apply Shout immediately either. What I do is go over clothes right before doing laundry and rub in Shout where needed, wait 2-3 mins and throw it into the washer. It works really well for shirt collars too, without fading the color of the shirt or making it look like it was scrubbed to death. My mother and aunts in India ask me to bring them a bottle or two of Shout when I travel there to visit them, in fact. You wouldn't think that laundry stain remover would be a gift in demand, but it is!

This is the best stuff for stains! It gets out ink, oil, chocolate, toothpaste. So far the only things it hasn't worked on for me are blood stains, for which I use non-chlorine bleach. It works fast, or you can rub it on the stain and leave the item in your laundry basket for weeks and it will still work.

This is my favorite stain fighter, by far. It gets out almost everything my kids can dish out and, if it can't, nothing can. I have used it on clothes that have been previously washed and the stains set in and it has removed them. I have others that I have used when out of this and when they didn't get out the stains, I re-wash with this and they usually come out. The application is great, no spray going everywhere. My only issue is that my local retailers all stopped carrying it for some reason, but since I found it here, Drugstore.com is now my go-to place for my supply - I buy 10 at a time, it's that good!

I have been using this product for years. I still have the original white bottle. It doesn't take much to clean spots. It takes out old spots on my clothng that have been through the dryer. It's amazing! I have recommended this product to many friends and they agree. It works much better than the spray. Highly, Highly recommend it.

As another reviewer said, the photo is NOT the product that is described, but I ordered and received the product described (Advanced Ultra Gel). It worked very well and removed red wine stains and blueberry stains.

This type of Shout cleaning product became obsolete at all my local stores, so I bought a gross of the Shout Gel to have one in almost every room. It has been the only laundry pre-treat product that gets out the toughest baby stains and can be treated and left for up to two weeks with no ill effect on clothing.

This is a great product and very effective on stains. The design of the bottle with the scrub brush on the top means that as you scrub the stain you are continuing to apply more gel so you probably use more than really necessary.
