People are saying there is an initial break out period etc etc. I already had clear skin. I use differin on a daily basis. This counteracted my differin and my skin looked horrible overnight. I continued to use it for almost 3 weeks thinking it would get better, but it just got worse. First it was white heads all over and just a general irritated feel and look, when your skin is "bad". Then I started getting cystic acne, which I NEVER do. I went to my dermatologist, she said it was no bueno and gave me a topical gel to help with my early stages of rosacea (aczone). My face has cleared up (1 week no use) except for one stubborn cystic guy that won't give up. I've found that for the Rosacea flare ups in such early stages, diet and temperature control works the best for me. For me no-no foods so far are: avocados, chocolate, super hot soups, especially ones with MSG, caffeine, alcohol

Comments about Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, .34 fl oz:

I'm in my early 60s, and this is a product I cannot do without. Yes, Sea Buckthorn oil smells slightly unpleasant at first, but that diminishes in a few minutes. After cleansing, I sprinkle 4-6 drops into the palm of my hand, spray or sprinkle with some pure water, rub my hands together to make oily water, and immediately smooth this over my entire face (avoiding eyes, which it can irritate). I let this soak in after a couple of minutes (brush your teeth!), then apply sunscreen or night cream. For me it is a rich & nourishing first layer of moisture, which makes my skin glow; But it also does seem to diminish my 'sun spots'.
So, the reason I say it's 'a must for the medicine cabinet' is because it also heals wounds, and works better on herpes blisters than anything else I've tried! (including Tea Tree Oil, which is pretty darn good); A couple of applications of the undiluted oil, and the blisters start to scab over. So something is in this oil that is pretty strong, perhaps even anti-viral--probably why it is irritating to the eyes.
I've turned my sister, mother and girlfriends on to this stuff, and they're all now loyal users.

I use this twice a day on my scaly eczema/dermatitis on my face and eye lids. It works better than any other cream that I have been prescibed by the dermatologist. My face feels smooth and soft

This is the only product that comes close to prescription ointment in healing my daughter's eczema. If I top it with Aquaphor, her outbreaks heal very nicely.

Comments about Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, .34 fl oz:

I have struggled with periodic outbreaks of eczema for years and could never find anything that helped. Dermatologists gave me creams that just relieved itching but didn't help at all otherwise (and damaged delicate skin on my face). I recently had an outbreak around my scalp and forehead that was scaling, very itchy and painful. I finally decided to try Sibu, as I heard seabuckthorn oil could help. Within a week it was GONE! It immediately took the itch away and moisturized the dry patches. I use it as a spot treatment but also at night as a moisturizer on occasion. I am so thankful that I have found this, and wanted to share for anyone else who might have eczema and is frustrated with the lack of a real solution out there. The only con is it smells a little like vitamins to me, but it is such a small issue compared to the relief! I am going to try the capsules next and see if it helps reduce outbreaks and improve skin and hair.

Comments about Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, .34 fl oz:

Having had Adult Acne since my 20's, and now possibly roseaca, it is difficult to find a product that will work without causing breakouts, etc. I have been using this Oil for a couple of months as my bedtime ritual. Now that I use it consistently, I have noticed my skin to be brighter, clearer and with no further redness or blotchiness. One only needs a small amount and the bottle lasts a long time. After washing my face before bedtime, I put on Derma e's Pcynogel Gel Serum, then quickly use a few drops to softly rub both into my skin for better absorption. Anything that helps with the much needed self-confidence of someone who has suffered with hormonal acne all her life, is a true blessing. I have stopped using high end Depratment Store brands, as they just do not work, and I have gotten so many compliments on my skin since I swithced over to all natural products.

Comments about Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, .34 fl oz:

This oil has lived up to the raves I've read about it, and then some. I have dry, mature skin with a tendency toward deep breakouts (mostly from nuts, dairy & too much sugar), but it seems to either reduce the breakouts or completely clear them. Also, it seems to have a lightening effect on my 'sun spots'. The all-over color/tone appears to have improved as well. It is very 'youth-ening' as it moisturizes so well the wrinkles are greatly lessend and my skin glows. The oil is thick, not quite tacky, like Vit. E oil, but it absorbs into the skin so quickly that it's not a problem. After cleansing, I spray my face with water, then apply the oil so it glides around more evenly. Some complain about the smell of this oil, but it's gone so fast (like in 5 seconds), who cares? Besides, it's not a disgusting smell, just sort of a 'weedy' one. Oh, did I mention that it seems to be excellent for rosacea? I have a spot on my nose that will flare up occasionally, but a couple of hours after applying the oil, it faded considerably. A true test of a moisturizer's stay-power is if my skin still feels supple and nice in the morning after sleeping next to a forced-air duct spewing out warm, dry air all night. This oil passes that test easily. Only on the dryest days or nights would I need to apply an additional moisturizing or night cream over the oil, and now that spring's here, the only other thing I'll need is sunscreen in the daytime. So this is not only an extremely superior product for your face, but economical, too.

Comments about Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, .34 fl oz:

I gave this product three stars because it is such an incredibly light oil that it didn't seem to penetrate the skin. I personally did not like it. I did not notice any difference when using. I used before bed on face and cuticles. The beta-carotene in this oil give your face a nice glow, but that is about it. The smell of this product is "carrot-y" and goes away very quickly. Good for those looking for a light, topical oil but not for those looking for a healing, moisturizing oil.
