Similac® Lactose Free Advance® Infant Formula with Iron

For feeding when lactose is a concern.
DHA and ARA Special nutrients found in breast milk.
For babies 0-12 months.
Milk-Based without Lactose.

Breast milk is recommended. When an infant formula is needed, Similac® Lactose Free Advance® provides the excellent nutrition of milk protein, but without lactose (milk sugar). Sometimes gas, diarrhea and other feeding problems may be related to lactose. Similac Lactose Free Advance contains easy-to-digest carbohydrates similar to those in Isomil® Advance® Soy Formula with Iron and is fortified with nucleotides, compounds naturally present in breast milk.

In response to mothers seeking "BPA free" products, Abbott is pleased to share that it has now achieved "BPA free" status in all of its Similac® brand powdered infant formula products.

Abbott products have been tested for BPA using the most sensitive and conservative tests available, and levels are undetectable for all powdered products and consistently 50 times below international safety standards for other infant nutrition products.

According to the U.S. Surgeon General, "The most important thing parents can do for their babies is ensure that they receive adequate nutrition. While the best source of nutrition for babies is a mother's breast milk, infant formula remains the recommended alternative when breast milk is not an option."

Do not use if "R" band around cap or inner foil seal is missing or broken.

Use by date on bottle.

Do not use this container to warm formula. Never use a microwave oven to warm formula. Serious burns can result.

My newborn who was breastfeeding, but not getting enough, started supplimenting with formula, tried Enfamil, and others, and this worked the best on his gas and fussiness. He is much better, it takes a few days for his system to get used to the new formula if you are switvhing, but after a few days his bowel movements returned to normal, love that you don't have to mix it, wish they made 4 oz or 2 oz travel size, but 8 0z is all I can find
but over all love it. Feel safe using it

I did not receive the item pictutred. Received the older version that doesnt contain the early shield. Similac now includes EarlyShield in this formula. I am going to stick with buying Similac Sensitive from the grocery store so I will know that I am getting the new kind with EarlyShield included.

Ready to feed. Do not add water.

Use as directed by physician.

Your baby's health depends on carefully following these easy directions. Ask your baby's doctor if you need to boil (sterilize) the empty bottles before adding formula.

Shake bottle very well before opening.
Pour formula into bottle or cup. After feeding, throw away any formula remaining in bottle or cup.

Storage: Recap container and prepared bottles immediately. Store in refrigerator and use within 72 hours. Store unopened cans at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures. Do not reuse container.

To Open

Shake bottle very well.
Remove protective band; twist off and clean cap.
Invert cap and place on foil seal.
Press down to pierce foil, then turn cap a half turn.
Lift and throw away foil.
Pour formula.
