Do not take internally. Initial exacerbation of symptoms may occur. Do not use if you have ear drainage or discharge, ear pain, irritation or rash in the ear or are dizzy; consult a doctor. Do not use if you have an injury or perforation (hole) of the ear drum or after ear surgery, unless directed by a doctor. Do not use with ear tubes. Do not use for more than 4 days; if excessive ear wax remains after use of this product consult a doctor. Keep out of reach from children. Avoid contact with the eyes.

My family has used Similasan products for several years now. We especially like the ear wax relief drops as they have worked for the whole family. My sister has always had an abundance of ear wax and this product clears it up in a few days. The drops are easy to use. Another reviewer claims they're hard to dispense because the bottle is glass - well this is not accurate. The bottle is indeed glass, however, it has a large soft plastic dispenser top that you squeeze and the drops dispense very easily. The drops are very moisturizing and also stop ear itch. I like the fact that this is a homeopathic medication - very safe to use.
It's hard to tell if this works: it is very difficult to get the drops out. The bottle is glass, not soft so you can squeeze out the drop. I was really hoping this would help my husband, so we'll keep trying.
This does a good job of softening and loosening earwax, but it doesn't remove the stuff! I'll stick with drops that contain carbamide peroxide, such as Debrox. Carbamide peroxide seems to be the ingredient that really gets the job done!
I've tried them all and this product does the trick. The key is that one must use it for at least 3 days to do a good job. Stopped the itching and the ringing. A great product at a reasonable cost.
Never use cotton swabs or other foreign objects in the ear. Tip of applicator should not enter the ear canal.
Warm up bottle in hand. Tilt head sideways. Squeeze plastic applicator to drop solution into ear.
Use 3-5 drops per application. Let drops absorb by keeping head tilted for several minutes. Keep drops in ear with cotton ball if needed.
Use twice daily for up to 4 days if needed, or as directed by a doctor. Any wax remaining after treatment may be removed by gently flushing the ear with warm water, using a soft rubber bulb ear syringe.
