Comments about Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream, 1.7 oz:

This product caused my face to burn at application, probably because of the SPF?, and turn red. Absolutely not for sensitive skin. The light moisturizer in this same line is better.

Comments about Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream, 1.7 oz:

I recently developed skin allergies and adult acne, but had flawless skin before. After returning all the irritating products I was using, I decided to start over and try this brand bc it was trusted in the UK. I bought this day cream and the similar night cream. They both work great, but I found that as it started approaching spring, that this cream made my face greasy (it could also be because the other items I use are for sensitive skin and are just too darn gentle), but regardless, as the day went on, I felt like a grease monkey. I have since switched to their light moisturizer and I am happy as a clam.

This product did NOT irritate my skin, but it also did not help w my zits. No 5 star rating from me.

Comments about Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream, 1.7 oz:

The majority of the Simple skin care product line is not suggested for sensitive skin, period! This line offers its lovely packaging and numerous promises, but waiting in the formulation is an ingredient that is highly irritating to the skin. Which ingredient? Methylisothiazolinone. This ingredient is known and very well documented to cause dermatitis, skin rash, and much more. In fact, my dermatologist forbids me from using any product that contains this ingredient. However, if the ingredient is in a wash off product, then the danger is minimal - Shampoo, etc.
