The cover sleeve is made of a cheap quality material. The bottom of my feet are warm, nearly hot. The tops of my feet are cold due to the small cover of cloth. It does keep its heat for awhile and is easy to use in the microwave and convient because you don't have to plug it in like many other products.

I bought this as a bed warmer. We had been using corn bags for this purpose in the past. They work well, but we don't like the roasted corn smell in bed. This product doesn't get hot enough to warm the bed. It does stay warm for a long time, though.

This product heats up fast and retains heat long term. It is big enough to wrap my ankle to apply heat to both sides of foot. I also like the fact that you can place your feet in a slot to keep feet warm.

The sides HURT. Like paper edges, will cut. Never again. Even though its covered, the cover slides down and the edges HURT.

I love this product. It's a little hard to heat, have to keep squishing it to even out, but once it's done, feels wonderful on my hands and feet. With Reynaud's, difficult to warm extremities once they're cold.

Used one like this after gall bladder surgery for pain in shoulder area from CO2 gas. It was an old one and had cracked (liquid leaked out) so found a replacement

I use the heating pad for added warmth, placing it under the covers to warm my bed, or on my lap, or at my feet under a throw blanket when reading or watching television. It stays warm much longer than my bran-filled heating cushions.
