I get extremely dry mucous membranes in the winter that cause nose bleeds and have always used the Ayr nasal gel in the past. When I saw that this product was a better bang for the buck I decided to give it a try. The main problem with this product is that it wears off much faster than the Ayr gel and when it dries it leaves the inside of my nose feeling worse than before I used it sometimes. I also notice that it does have an odor - not horribly strong or repugnant in anyway, but it is an odor none the less, unlike the Ayr gel. So as you can guess I will stick with what works for me and now that I see how well the other gel does work in comparison I won't stray again!

Although the idea of a saline gel appealed to me, when I got this product I sent it back. It contains paraben chemicals. It is hardly "simply Saline" . It would have been helpful to be able to access the ingredients online before I bought it.

I bought this originally for two reasons (1) the dry air in the house from turning on the heat (2) my father uses oxygen. I wasn't sure this would really help but it has for both of us. My father's nose was dry from using oxygen every night as he slept and he has found so much relief from this product that I ordered him two more tubes. I will keep buying it as long as he needs it. Myself, I was having irritation from the dry air bad enough it caused bleeding.. this relieved my problems as well. I don't need it all the time but when I do, this takes care of it within a night or two. I would suggest, anyone using oxygen through a nose tube or with dry nasal passages, try this product .

This nasal gel is as good or better than others, and a much better value. It deserves to be in stores everywhere, but currently is rather hard to find.

This is nice if you feel dry or itchy, but doesn't offer long lasting results-- I wanted it to use prior to going to work in a dry office, but it pretty much sinks in before I walk out the door. Not great as a preventative measure but good if you feel dry.
