I have allergies, but I hate allergy drugs. This isn't an antihistamine or a decongestant, it is ONLY purified water and 0.9% sodium chloride (plain old salt)- but it does help me breathe. Especially throughout the night. Simply Saline washes away irritants, moistens my nasal passages and throat, makes it easier to breathe, and is portable!!!! What more could you ask for? I got one for my husband, and it has helped him (and me!) curtail his loud, band-saw-like snoring at night. This and drinking enough water has seemed to really help both of us. For when the neti pot is impractical, Simply Saline is the greatest. (and no, I don't work for them, I just LOVE their product...) Got my 78 year old mother using it, too. She loves it, especially in winter, when the heat is on and dries everything out. In my opinion, the packaging of this product (in a can with a nozzle that is so big and protrudes halfway up the sinus cavity) is not well thought out. I purchased this for the large size only and I was not at all impressed with the design. I expected the saline to be more of a "rinse". My mistake, I mis-interpreted "mist" in the description. Plus, I was thinking it was a better value, although saline rinses are way too overpriced as it is. Perhaps if they were more affordable, more people would use them and realize their benefits. I used this product and I was much better the next day. Love the fact that it is not full of drugs. Have also tried Ocean and I MUCH prefer Simply Saline because the Ocean has a very odd odor and after smell while the Simply Saline is like rinsing with a homemade saline solution. LOVE the stuff.
